Neal's my name. I considered using Poque as my handle, which I use for a lot of my online things, but for some reason I decided to just go with my first name.

In 1999, I joined an online, play by email fanfiction group for the FF7rpg. I picked the character Elena, one of the last few available female characters. The 99 I added for when I went into the FF7rpg chatroom, just because it was the last two digits of the year. (I'm still in this group, btw, as Elena. And Tifa, and another character named Lillith.)

Mine was from a random fantasy name generator on a game by the name of Everquest. Â Freespirit was his surname I added, and use that sometimes, but most of the time I just use Fadien.

One day, long long ago, a friend of mine called me "Fraudulent Tommy". I enjoyed that and made a screen name of it soon after. But while playing Starcraft, a horrendous typo was made of my name to "Tommah", and I liked that even better, so I upgraded FraudulentTommy to FraudulentTommah. It has quite a better sound, no?

ok... here's the story behind Mookie...
one day probably two years ago, i was watching a basketball game with a couple of friends. and one of the basketball players name was Mookie Blaylock. He hit a 3 pointer and the anouncer got all excited and was like "Mah-mah-mah-mah-MOOKIE Blaylock drains another three!!!" And it hit me what a messed up name that was. I uttered the famous line: "Who the hell would name their kid Mookie?" The next day, my friends who were at my house just randomly began calling me Mookie. And it annoyed the hell out of me. It began to spread around the school. "Tim's nickname is now Mookie.".. "Call him, Mookie. It annoys the crap out of him" .. etc. Well, after two months, it began to be less annoying. After the third month, it was my name... i was called it more than Tim. I even had some teachers calling me Mookie rather than Tim. But the Mookie era at school has sorta faded. Now I'm back to boring old Tim and Tim-o-ramma-ding-dong-shaka-lacka-Tim-anotor-ness!... believe it or not, i am called that last name at least once a day ![]() -------------------- Air force... if you ever join the militant wing, join the Air force Army = jockos Navy = seasick nerds Marines = show offs PeaceCorp = hippies AF is the way to go |

Well...at the time I was registering, I was just trying to think of any kind of random name that wouldn't make me look conspicious. I was playing FF10 at the time and I was like Tidus...who? That went to Tidu cuz it sounds better, and I could've sworn i put a question mark at the end but I guess not.

Dragon_Fire has a rather odd origin. I was listening to my In Flames cd, and I was trying to think up a name that would last, for me to go by. I wanted something that would indirectly give something about me away. Well I looked up and say my little grey statue of a Dragon, because I have a small dragon obsession. I didn't know what to add to Dragon, because simply Dragon was just too common. Well I used to be a bit of a pyro, so I started playing with my lighter hoping to get an idea. I looked down at my In Flames cd, and saw the title of the song I was currently listening to. Dragon Fire.
I looked over to my hand with the lighter in it...saw fire...it was perfect! I typed in Dragon Fire, threw in an underscore for the hell of it, and began my infamous adventure here at the Caves Of Narshe. It seems like a forever ago that I came here, but I've only been here for the span of maybe barely two years. Time flies. -------------------- Okay, but there was a goat! |

When I joined an online text-based game (it's still around, and I'm still on it) two years ago, I called myself proto. Then, I joined some group thing inside the game called "Sheilk's Elite Commandos", and I put SEC in front of my name, and I just used it everywhere else I went.

I have used many names on the Internet, but The Minstrel Boy is probably my favourite. There's no real story behind the name; there's an Irish folk song that I enjoy with the same name, and I'm a musician myself, so I decided it would be kinda neat.

The name "Super Moogle" is an unimaginative pun on the well-known DC comics hero Superman. As you can see, I just switched the "man" with "moogle". I came up with the idea on a whim when I signed up for the CoN forums, and it's stuck ever since.
I originally had a regular little moogle avatar to go with it, but eventually I pestered R51 long and hard enough to let me used the neat caped moogle avatar that you see here. Rich (Denise's fiancee, then under the name "ToiletDuck") was kind enough to make it for me. For the record, I like Batman a whole lot better than Superman; always have and always will. DF and others inform me that the name "Bat Moogle" would be the coolest thing since chutter (long story), but it seems that it's too late to change the name now. Besides, it would be super hard to make an avatar of a moogle in a Batman suit. Oh, well. -------------------- "I always have a quotation for everything - it saves original thinking." ~Dorothy L. Randy Rhoads was Ozzy Osbournes guitarist from 1980 til he died in 1982, and hes a really big inspiration to me, hes the whole reason i started playing guitar. Therandyrhoads is my aol screen name also, and i had to put "the" on the front because just "randyrhoads" was already taken. now that you all know this, i guess now we can all have conversation. and if it turns out youre a real backdoor bandit, ill just block you.

Lets see well I don't actully remember how I came up with the name Gwah but I did and really out of lazyness and the lack of a better name havn't switched it yet. Actully it was originally Shadowgwah but out of convience I just shortened it to Gwah.

gozaru is the informal of gozaimasu in japanese which is a sentence suffix used to uh emphasise state of being. most stereotypical anime samurai use gozaru liberally (in addition to other rarely-used words). one day a loooooong time ago on HM MB, everyone had like a name "HM Pikachu" or "HM Farmgrl" et cetera, so i made "HM Gozaru" arbitrarily and gozaru stuck.

Hsiu is part of my actual name. It means 'virtue'. Fufufufu...
Hsiu is just one of my nicknames and is the most normal name among a host of puns and rhyming variations on 'Hsiu-Hsien'. I use Hsiu for nearly everything because it's a pretty good bet that no one else is using the name. Plus it's exhausting to maintain the image conjured by nicknames like "Lady Damnation", wheras I've had years of experience being Hsiu :) -------------------- "Turd-cookies!...they're hot and soft, though..."
