Ok, so lately my topics have gone down the toilet, but I want to know what you think is the most touching moment in FFT.
I think it is the scene where you see Rafa and Malak reunited when the stone brings him back to life. So touching. OK, R51. It's a pooper. Flush it. -------------------- "There is not a liberal America and a conservative America - there is the United States of America. ..........
You can close topics that you created yourself, you know. My most emotionally charged moment in the game is a tie between when Ramza kills Gafgarion, or when Olan sees Ramza and Alma at their "funeral". The first one gets me because Gaf, in my mind at least, seemed to be a replacement father-figure for Ramza. It was sad seeing Ramza have to tell him goodbye. -------------------- Join the Army, see the world, meet interesting people - and kill them. ~Pacifist Badge, 1978 |

Quote (Hamedo @ 9th March 2005 09:42) My most emotionally charged moment in the game is a tie between when Ramza kills Gafgarion, or when Olan sees Ramza and Alma at their "funeral". The first one gets me because Gaf, in my mind at least, seemed to be a replacement father-figure for Ramza. It was sad seeing Ramza have to tell him goodbye. I agree with that one. I say that the most touching moment for me was Delita's feelings of love and sympathy for Ovelia. This one gets to me because my love life is... (I'll shut up here). I'm not sure how to phrase this one without spoiling any parts for players who haven't beat it, so I'll play it safe and spoler-tag... Possible spoilers: highlight to view It is debatable as to whether or not Delita's feelings were genuine or part of his "master plan" for Ivalice's throne. Sure he killed her in the end, but does that necessarily mean he didn't really love her? His way of speaking afterwards got me pondering. That's the moment for me. -------------------- "Thought I was dead, eh? Not until I fulfill my dream!" Seifer Almasy "The most important part of the story is the ending." Hmm... I've got two I suppose.
Possible spoilers: highlight to view When you battle against Zalbag, that is so sad. He was the good one (aside from Ramza) and... Possible spoilers: highlight to view The End, it just struck me sad that ramza's whole family had to 'die' just to end the damn war. Ramza and Alma would have been alright had Vormav not dragged Alma to Murod (sp?) Then they both ended up dying, all he wanted to do was save his sister. Yeah, that was the saddest scene. Heh, heh... For me it would have to be:
Possible spoilers: highlight to view The scene where Zalbag and the chemist are at Balbanes' gravesite. The music that plays during that scene and the orange sky in the background. I often find myself watching that scene over and over again. -------------------- This is my world: (Got my second chapter up, 3rd Chapter about 80% complete) http://www3.sympatico.ca/daniel876/homepage.html |

I got one, don't view if you haven't finished the game yet.
Possible spoilers: highlight to view Probably the end, Ramza and Alma died.. But the good thing is the war between those of evil and those of the good ended. |

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but it was my impression that....
Possible spoilers: highlight to view Ramza and Alma did not die but were in fact the ones riding off into the distance, away from Olan, on the chocobos. My pick for the scene is the same as Ractoh. Possible spoilers: highlight to view The scene where Zalbag and the chemist are at Balbanes' gravesite. |

This game wasn`t that touching...but i`ll go with the gafgarion encounters, I also see it as a replacement of a father, who taught him his idiosincrasy..his way to see life, trought the years of war...too bad he is killed.

Possible spoilers: highlight to view The part where Reis and Beowulf are reunited as humans. It really made my day after fighting an insane robot and some stupid birds that can turn you into stone. Also the part Possible spoilers: highlight to view where Cloud comes in and saves Aeris from those bandits in town, but, Ramza and Co. come in and save Cloud's @$$... Absolutely,
Possible spoilers: highlight to view I sat there with my mouth hanging open. Unreal. And then after the battle, when Delita doesn't say anything. Jesus. Teta's death. I agree with L. Cully on my first one.
Possible spoilers: highlight to view When Teta died, it almost made me cry. I felt sorry for her. I Also liked the one when Possible spoilers: highlight to view Delita and Ovelia were alone in the ruins of the church, and he was trying to comfort her because she was sad that she was nothing but a substitute, and then they both hugged each other.
