Do you think Alma would have been useful as a playable character? I think she would have: that MBarrier can come in really handy most of the time. Of course, I'd have beefed her up, made her an Archer, and gave her Holy Magic as her Secondary Ability, but that's just my two cents worth of opinion.

So, what do you guys think?

I don`t know about that but you can have her in specific parts of the game, besides she got the same skills Ovelia has, she got all her skills of cleric job learned so she will be a good character, I think...

The MBarrier would be nice... But I don't really like to use the 'main' characters, I'll use my own chars instead ^-^

I think she would be a nice addition, I mean, who DOESN'T like MBarrier? I don't know how often I would use her, because there is no real need for her and she only has the three skills, but it's a family bonding experience for Ramza.

MBarrier and Deathspell 2 would be nice, butther in-battle skills are lacking. She'd be useful, but probably get as much playing time in my party as Malak or Worker-8.

Really, she'd just take up room in my formation, I like generics better and most of the story chars end up on their ass when im don t|eyre quest. it would be no different for Alma, specially with her next-to-nothing skills. Sure she has two good spells... but are you going to sacrifice a whole job slot for 2 skills?di think not

] think Alma might be a nice addition. As previously posted I would like5a family bond with Ramza. I think Alma with Ramza and Zalbag against Duke Dycedarg at Igros Castle would be the coolestething. As a guest, she's relatively mediocre. MBarrier and Wace Up combined with high Faith and powerful magic power is very nice. Ulma with mastered WhiteeMagic, Magic Defend or Attack Up with Move MP-Up would definately earn her a very high spot in my party} no doubt. So, I'd say yes.4

Well,1she hadaa nice high Faith and low Brave for Move-Find item. She would be a great spellcaster!

If you really think about it, Alma would give you so many advantages by being a playable character. Here are just a few reasons why she'd be awesome:

1. Low Brave: Great item-finding.

2. High Faith: Think of it: Cleric with a secondary job command of Calculate. Calcualted MBarrier, baby!

3. MBarrier: Protect, Shell, Regen, Haste, and ReRaise in one spell. You can't get much better than that.

4. Not sure if this is true or not, but I heard somewhere that in the final battle with Altima, she can learn Ultima and use it. If this turns out to be untrue, just ignore this reason.

I went ahead and voted yes. She's got some nice Abilities and I am generally a person who favors more options.

If you had Alma, is MBarrier allowed to be calculated? I've never checked for myself although I would naturally assume no since the occasion can't occur. But you never know.
