This is totally not Squaresoft at all but i was just curious has anyone ever heard of the game Shadow Madness? It looks almost exactly like ff7 and is VERY cool.

It was on PS1 but I never played it. It was rated a 7.0 by ign.com. I might have played a demo of it and didn't like it, but I'm not positive it was that game.

Well you start off with a guy that kinda resembles a pirate, the story is EXTREMELY good though, i've played and completed it over 5 times in the past 2 years its three cd's also

I own it and have beaten it. Quite a nice game, but it's easy to get your characters leveled to the max, at the very BEGINNING of the game...and that's not fun at all, nor challenging.
The graphics were alright, and the storyline was VERY good. Overall, it was a good "one-time" play. |

Its called Pandora's box and you get can get it on one of the islands when you have the ship that sails over trees and shit. You go to the island and go into a house where there are gadgeteers and they have a video game thing (the one like doom) you play it and when you beat it you get it, or its on the ground i cant remember. ANYWAYS point being that there is a messege explanation for it that says "DO NOT OPEN THIS EVER" or something like that but whos gonna listen right? lol so when you open it there is a bunch of shit that flashes on your screen and its really fucked up :s then after a bit of wierd stuff the creen goes black and it says game over insert quarter or something like that lmao, wierdest thing i ever seen in a game.

I was rummaging through my friend's magazines and found some old EGM and T&T magazines. Along with news of the new upcoming FF8 game and the near launch of the PS2 I saw some ads for Shadow Madness. Yeah like you said the guy looks like a pirate and it goes on about tge game blah blah blah. And that Pandora's Box sounds really messed up

I find it extremely wierd that no one else has really heard of this game, it use to have commericals and everything as far as i can rememmber
