Wehn i was looking for FFT pics i came acorss this site with some screen shots i never saw in the FFT game,so i was wondering if any of you knew about them or anything.

Seriously though, I'll try and help. (Keep in mind that I'm only about 4/5ths of the way through the game and that I have a somewhat faulty memory). Let's see what we've got here, I think I can identify two of those for you. :


1. The second one down on your right hand side apears to be a battle with some Samurai at Zirekile Falls.

2. The one on the bottom right looks to be a battle at the Bed Desert with archers.

Also, the one on the upper right hand side seems to be a Bahamut summon at a fort somewhere. I don't think I've seen the others myself the others myself but I do seem to remember some of the locations. Can't remember their names at the moment though. I know it's not much but I hope that helps a litte.

I seem to remember all those screenshots being from promotional materials about the game. I'm thinking that they were from a beta version, as most of those locations don't take the same exact form in the game itself.

Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN?

Neat picts, the Bahamut one appears on the back of the case for the game. The one with the lancer is new to me though (well the area is anyway). The rest of the shots you do see throughout the game, however the battles that they show in some of them can't occur. The character in the bottom left standing alone intrigues me, never seen that guy before.

I'm mesmerized by the pic at the lowest left of Prince Goltana (? or someone else?), Agrias, Lavian and Alicia, and Ramza (Ch. 1). How'd that one come about?

I would tend towards their being either a beta version. At first I thought it might have been doctored. With some of the locations it could have been, but i don't think I've ever seen the one with Goltana in it.

I used some sort of game-genie-like-code-thing-etc. one time, and got some very interesting locations to fight in. The ones at the bottom look very much like some of them; however, it's been a long time and my memory of that is not to good. :/

I'd always assumed they were from an overseas edition of the game. Ranger's probably right about the beta testing though.

Some of the locations look like special locations used only in the game's presentation of the various jobs (third cutscene if you let the intro plays itself). Other are real though..;

Because I've seen these exact same screnshots before on other sites, I'm tempted to go with R51 on this one: some places just do not appear ingame or in cutscenes, and when they do, the units settings are just impossible because these battles just can't happen at these locations (or are very VERY unlikely). It's possible that a Gameshark was used to edit some battles, but the fact that the screens are fairly easily found on the net led me to think they were beta-tests that somehow got out from a commercial or something.
