Recently, I gathered a list of old PSX games that I would like to get off of Ebay when I have the money. I thought we could all share the old games that we'd like to get a hold of. Here is my list:

Arc the Lad: The Collection
Lunar: Eternal Blue
Tales of Destiny
Tales of Destiny 2
Alundra
Grandia
Tactics Ogre

The one game I've been trying to get for the longest time is Valkyrie Profile. Even when I tried to get it off of EBay it was going for over a hundred bucks. I am convinced that I will never own that game, because there is no way I'm paying that much for a game.

For me, Valkyrie Profile and Suikoden II fall under the "never gonna happen" category, but others more likely but still unlikely include Dracula X: Rondo of Blood, Tobal II, Radiant Silvergun, and the Gamecube Zelda Collector's Edition.

Currently I'm trying to track down Resident Evil 2.
But I'm keeping my eye out for my favorite game of all time, Strife. (Yes, same as my name.... Without the numbers o.o) But it's a really old PC game, (I had it like 10 years ago and haven't seen a trace, besides the demo, since then)

Aww man, where do I begin? No matter how many I get, the SNES always has so many more games I want. Then there are all of the other systems I've got too that also have desirable games. I'll list the more impossible ones for me:

1. Game; Mega Man X3. Platform; SNES. Reason I can't obtain it; look at the price on ebay and proceed to have your head explode. Also, even if I could afford it, I don't have a credit card or any other electronic means of payment.

2. Game; Knights into Dreams. Platform; Sega Saturn. Reason I can't obtain it; See platform.

3; Game[s]; Earthworm Jim 1/2. Platform SNES. Reason I can't obtain them; They never come into the game store for some reason. Strange that I can get the SNES Chrono Trigger and Seceret of Mana there but not one of these two extreamly common games.

The other games would bore everybody so I won't list them. Oh and to Elena 1999, the last time I went to my local gaming store they had the Arc the Lad: The Collection. All six discs in one box and everything else too. Too bad I don't realy want PSX stuff . . .

Sonic, Knights, and Symphony of the Night (which I have for both PS1 and Saturn) are the three reasons I still keep my Saturn around. Well, that and the hope that I'll eventually find Radiant Silvergun.

I'm not sure if it's still available there but I was able to get an extra copy of the Zelda Collector's Edition for my brother for free when I signed up for a year of Nintendo Power. There's a lot of other great things you can get there such as t-shirts and strategy guides.

I've seen Symphony of the Night at one of my local blockbusters for sale as a greatest hits game.

For a lot of my selections, I am willing to pay top dollar for the because they are worth hit to me. Arc the lad and Lunar definately pay top dollar and maybe Alundra.

Well, I actually OWN Knights and Symphony of the Night for Saturn. The one I'm interested in is Radiant Silvergun, which is a classic top down shooter from the guys that did Ikaruga, which is one of my favorite Dreamcast games.

I thought this was rather interesting...

Anyone who is looking for MegaMan 1... Abandon all hope. Was searching on EBay, $300 for a factory sealed copy! Regular copies were going for about $100. As much as I wish I could own that game, I'll stick with playing it on the Mega Man Anniversary Collection instead.

Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete for PS and Snatcher for the Sega CD are the two highest on my list. Both excellent games, both nearly impossible to find.

Well actually, there's a Saturn version of the game called Nocturne in the Moonlight. Essentially it's the same as Symphony of the Night, except for the fact that there are more enemies, extra dungeons, and more playable characters. When you start the game up there's a player select screen that lets you choose from Alucard Richter and Maria.

That said, I envy anyone with a Saturn and Saturn games, I wasn't allowed to get one because my parents foresaw it's failure because I had gotten a Sega CD and only got a few games for it before the Sega CD went extinct, now i'm on a quest to get a Saturn collection up into my games. Notable games for my collection that I want are, 3 Naughty Trolls (Or something like that.) I remember playing the game on a demo, you run around as three gangster trolls demolishing stuff. Shining Force 3, and Nocturne in the Moonlight.
My main goal for Oldies at the moment is to collect every Shining Force game, a feat NOT easily accomplished, and I've not taken even a step in the door yet, since my first goal is to get Shining Force CD. I had the Game Gear games once, but my grandmother threw them away. :\

Oh, are we doing all games or just hard to find oldies? In that case I could just post my entire IGN wishlist, but I'll restrain myself.

But yeah, some other classics I wouldn't mind getting a hold of are Koudleka (PS1), Dragon Force (Saturn), and Powerstone 2 (Dreamcast), but those are less urgent then my hope of finding Radiant Silvergun or Rondo of Blood (the latter of which I will almost certainly never get because the last thing I need is an old console for just one game).

Well for me it would be a Sega Dreamcast and a few games Phantasy Star Online to name one. Original Phantasy Star games I would like to get as well for the Sega Master and Genesis as those games I grew up with, though it might be difficult to recover my platforms and/or acquiring another one all together. A Game Boy Advance is something I wouldn't mind having either for FFTA or re-made and revamped versions of older classics.
Edit
I forgot about FFVI. I would love that game if I had an SNES

If I had to compile a list of most-wanted games, I'd probably go like this:

[1] - Arc the Lad Collection (PSX)
[2] - Final Fantasy VI (SNES)
[3] - Grandia (PSX)
[4] - Tales of Phantasia (PSX)
[5] - Lunar Silver Star Story (PSX)
[6] - Xenogears (PSX)

[EDIT] - Can't believe I forgot Xeno.

I'm with yah there ^-^ I can't find this game (save the rom, which is awesome) anywhere. I heard it was only in jap, (which is probably wrong) but it'd still like to see it nonetheless.

A look at Ebay shows only Super Famicom copies of Tales of Phantasia. If there is a U.S. release of the game, I would definately like to get my hands on it. I believe I have the ROM but regardless of legality, I'd rather own the actual game. It would be cool to own the Super Famicom version but I can't read Japanese, though, collecting the Japanese versions of the good games is cool for just collecting.

They sell well-used copies of Super Metroid for 50 dollars at game stop. That's the cost of a brand new game.

you can find xenogears for less than twenty bucks now that they've re-released it in the Greatest Hits lineup, that's how I found it.

If you get a Dreamcast, the only RPGs worth getting are Skies of Arcadia, Grandia II, and Phantasy Star Online.

Another Japanese Super Famicon game I'd love is Seiken Densetsu III, which is tied with Tales for the game I wish had been released in the US the most. I've beaten that game five or six times, so the dialogue wouldn't be a problem as long as they keep numbers in English.

Other than the obvious FF4 and FF6 for SNES, I really need to get Bubble Bobble for PSone. I've been trying to locate it for quite a while and the only ones I've located were for like $80 and it'd have to be shipped from

I have a few more to add to my list.

Tactics Ogre
Guardian's Crusade
Azure Dreams
Thousand Arms

Amazon.com has a lot of the older titles for sale. I just go into video games, pick the system, and ask for a list of all the RPGs. Lots of stuff there. Meh, I need money.
