So, I have all of Strago's lores except for the Force Field lore. I have searched various sites...75% say only Doom statue uses Force Field...however, 25% of them says Dark Force teaches it too. Tell me, is it still possible for me to learn Force Field after I already killed Doom, or am I screwed? I've done 200+ hours of work on my FF6 game...it will be sad if my perfect game is ruined by one single lore...

Hmm... if you do Control against Dark Force I think it shows up as one of the options. It's been a while though... worth a shot at least.

Edit: Sorry, I was thinking of a different lore that Dark Force do. Sorry.

Sorry but I've never seen Dark Force do Force Field, even in my longest battles with him. Due to that, I'm betting you're royaly screwed LeviathanMist. However, you can learn Big Gaurd by Sketching Earth Gaurds and I've heard reliable sources say that Dark Force does teach Quasar. It sucks, I know but the bright side is at least you know for the next time that Strago should be in the Doom battle if any. I wish you great luck for the next playthrough.

Yup, I learned Quasar from the Dark Force and Big Guard from Earth Guards... also Pep Up from the Intangir rage, and GrandTrain from Hidon...all the other Lores you can learn from Dark Force except Force Field....but this kinda sucks...ah well, I guess I'll go through on the ps version this time around have never beaten the ps version because the menus load too slow thanks for the encouragement

Dark Force can cast 19 Lores in the course of normal combat. CleanSweep is on his Control/Muddle/Charm spell list, and he can never cast Big Guard, ForceField, Pep Up, or GrandTrain.

1) You can only get the Forcefield Lore from Doom.
2) To get Doom to cast Forcefield, a) wait 20 seconds into the battle and b) get Doom below 32640 HP. If you dont feel like casting Scan 20 times, wait for Doom to say "Doom's aura is shaking", shortly thereafter, Doom will cast Forcefield.
You might want to spend that time casting Earth Wall and Safe on your party, as Doom will cast Demon Rage on the 'targetted' character at around the same time.

It is true rhe ForceField only can be learned in battle with Doom, no other way, you should go with a party that includes Strago, and has to be the first party, I think, and then when you open the door by pushing the "4 ton" on both sides, enter that door and go to the left .

Oh dear god don't remind me. >< Each time I play through VI I ALWAYS have to go through the final dungeon twice before getting Strago to the right side. ¬_¬ I always forget what the patturn is. ; ;
