Im confused!
I went into the Dark Dungeon and I enterd a strange place named "Nogias"(What kind of name is that?!) after I finished the rether easy battle I go straight to the World map... I know there are 10 levels to this dungeon but I don't know how to get to them. also I heard that you need to step on a random square to progress before the battle end... I tried stepping on some squares but nothing happend...
Please spare a remedy and an advise to snap me out of my confusion:P

The name "Nogias" is "Saigon" backwards. Don't know why Square decided to do that, but they did.

Yes, you do need to step on certain squares to get to the next level.

As for advise on how to do it. Kill all the enemies save one and use Beowulf's skills to put him to sleep and just step on all the squares you can (except for traps). There are only a handful of squares that the exit can be in, but sadly I don't remember which ones. Good Luck!

Each time you replay the level, as long as you haven't found the exit already, there should be one 'exit square' out of four possible. Like Kane said, kill the enemies save one, isolate it, impair it, then search the battlefield.

If you find the exit square, kill the last remaining enemy to move on; if you find a trap square or get a phoenix down, I'd advise you to reset--there are plenty of unique and superb items underneath those traps, and it'd be a waste if you didn't get every last one of 'em.

Only if you have move-find item equipped. As long as you don't have it set then your fine. When looking for the exits it would be best not to have that ability set.
