This new forum thingy is for you to post up your greatest Final Fantasy Tactics Achievement so I can make fun of them.

Just Kidding!!

You can post your greatest achievement, though.

My greatest achievement was having all of my characters at the end of the game at level 99 with master everything (except summoner sad.gif ).

Well, mastering levels and skills comes naturally through the course of the game, but I did get a second Masamune the legitimate way, so I was quite proud of that. Took me eighty-eight hours, but I still got it.

Good job, even thought I never knew that the masamune 2 existed. thumbup.gif

If I remember correctly, you have to have a level 92 female throw them, and that's hoping that they know Throw Knife.

My greatest acvhievement in FFT would be stealing all of Elmador's equipment. I mean holy crap that was hard. I don't remember how many times I had to restart but it was allot. Arc Knights with Assasin body guards must be very protective of their stuff I guess. Hey, does anybody else find it strange that with an 11-14% chance of stealing an item, that you need to try more then 50 times to steal just something?

Depending on which order you steal his equipment in and if you lower his brave first, the percentages will vary. Zodiac compatibility comes into play also.

Tonepoet, if you have Beowulf in your party stealing his stuff is quite easy. Use his chicken ability to lower his brave by 50 at a time. Since your reaction ability is based on your brave level the chances of success for steal become much better when his brave is 0.

Edit: Grammer.

I managed to steal all Elmdor's equipment in a solo Ramza game with powerleveling, oh my... This was almost impossible!!!

I also managed to bring worker 8 to level 99 wich was a BIG mistake (and I underline the BIG here).

OH YEAH

AND I ALSO FOUND THE WAY TO MAKE FFT
LAG YES LAGGG!!!!

Go to Grog Hill, where you will be able to fight a team of 11 level 90+ monks. Use here your most powerful woman and make sure she can use Punch art. Equip her a setiemson (Transparent + Haste) then bring her alone in that battle.

Remain invisible while they place themselves on the border of the map then get next to the last monk and use Earth slash. It will hit 8 of the 11 monks and will also create some Great lag for a short period biggrin.gif . I haven't tested why kuikuichimoji yet, try if you want because my friend has just borrowed my FFT.

Continuing to go through the game, slowly but surely, with my personally devised (but hardly original) Beastmaster challenge.

Learnign Zodiac. It was damn near impossible. I had no patience to continuously retry END in order to get Zodiac if I failed the first couple of times. And to this day, I have yet to learn Ultima, but when I do, that will be an achievement indeed.

Well Sam, the final boss isn't that tough... trying to learn Zodiac is the real challenge. happy.gif

Moreover, try learning Zodiac on all of your characters during the battle. That's quite the challenge as well.

I once did it with all my five characters but it was too much preparation. My 70 faith my Ramza was dying of Zodiac no matter what so I had to lower it. I had to equip Magic defend up then cast shell in battle.oly one casting and all my five got the supreme power.

biggrin.gif

Then I wanted to do something reeeealy bad to Elidibs but I coun't, cuz I hadn't Short charge. mad.gif And everyone know that Zodiac is goddamn to long to cast without it.

*Tonepoet looks at the Genji set he worked so hard to get all that time ago.* Thanks guys but don't you think it is a little to late to tell me that now? Seriously though, I thought about Brave but I didn't have a Mediator with the proper skills to survive and I didn't have Beowulf yet . . . Also, Zodiac compatibilty has always been confusing to me. Thanks for the tips anyway though, I'll pocket them for the next time I want Genji equipment. smile.gif

Oh well, I guess barring stealing Elmador's equipment that getting both the Javelin II the Eschuton II and Nagarok in was the only other memorible thing I can think of. Worker number seven almost always killed my "stepping stone" or my Brave 14 Rafa before I could get on top of those pillars. Then there were the Hydra's and those annyoing birds too. I had to switch Ramza to a Monk so I could kill the little pesks in one hit or I'd have gotten the infamous "Game Over" screen. I guess it isn't that hard to do either but it was hard enough for me. Granted, I'm still on my first playthrough but that doesn't realy warrent much . . .

My greatest tactics achievement would probably be legitimately getting the 14 members of my party who can learn Zodiac, Zodiac (obviously not Worker 8 and The Byblos).

Tactics isn't a difficult game by any means, but there's lots of item-finding to be done.

I don't believe in using cheats like the weapon glitch, so I worked damn hard to get the blast gun, Chihirijiraden, Iga and Koga knives, Maximilian, Grand Helm, Robe of Lords, Chaos Blade, a second Excalibur, Super Javelin, Escutcheon II, and a number of other inconsequential items. Not to mention learning both Ultima and Zodiac.

That and I destroyed the final boss in exactly three attacks... hehe. Masamune, Lightning Stab, and then Climhazzard. Done.

I guess I should note that as well; kind of slipped my mind in the first post. It's hard to do but in the end it wasn't worth more than just the effort.

I never use summoner skills. =/

I guess it was my first time in deep dungeon when I passed it and got all the items in the DD without going back(but I never said not restarting that's almost impossible to do)that was my,hands down,Greatest FFT achievement.

Yeah, I know what you mean Shotgun, even though I have it with everbody, I've only cast it a few times (just when I want to see it and set everbody up just so I can)
