My favorite cheesy move is definately "phoenix down to undead", but it wasnt home, so instead i picked moogle charm.

BTW: how many total cheesy moves are there that any one can think of?

I think thats dependent on various people's styles. I'm not aware of the a28+ Mag defense one, and the classic multi-hit kill ones, like Genji glove and offering arent listed. I rarely use any insta-death combos, like Vanish and Doom, but I prefer to use the mass hit combos. I'm one of those players that manipulated the limit breaks in VIII so that Squall uses Renukoken more than he attacks.

My favorite cheesy move has always been good ole Galoob's Game Genie. Infinite Gold, using or equipping an item doesnt decrease the amount you have, but unequipping increments it (essentially, equipment duplication) and the Sick Items after Battle. Nothing beats having Paladin Shields and Illuminas or Ragnaroks and ribbons and genji gloves and offerings for everyone. Not to mention, when you keep equipping and unequipping, by the time you get to the Opera House, you've got like 60 of each eq item youve used! Combined with never needing to buy more than one potion, you can sell these things to get money you could never need!

Another cheap trick.. using the walk through walls cheat. Get to locked treasure chests, past the opera guy that says "Performance under way" which isnt as fun as getting past the guy at narshe in the very beginning with Locke and Terra, who wont let you back in. You can do the multi-party battle using Moogles to replace the characters you havent met yet. Downside, its permanent, and the moogles cant equip magic, or so I heard. I especially like dodging the guy in Figaro castle in WoB to go into the engine room, and meet Gerad. There is no fault to this, since you can fight the tentacles, get Edgar back in your party (I've only tried this with a party of Sabin, Locke, and Terra... Terra replaced Celes in dialogue and motion, Locke replaced Sabin, and Sabin stood in place the whole time. After the fight, Locke, Terra, and Edgar hid, while the thieves tried to exit, but were blocked by Sabin. The party reformes, Sabin magically disappears, and the theives exit.) Edgar joins your party, im not sure what happens if he is already in the party and you have three people.. Im going to assume that it would have no effect, and that you would fight with the people you had with you. I'll have try it.

Of course, all this, after I beat the game straight. Cheats are always for modification of replay to make it more interesting.

I don't like any cheap tricks. They make me feel dirty, unclean, and I like I beat the game dishonourably ;-)

I don`t know if this count as a cheap trick, but I equip muscle belt to strago, cast on him life 3, then exploder and then revenge, is best than blow fish

I totally abuse the Vanish/Doom trick, but I had to vote for Moogle Charm, because I could make it through the game actually beating enemies the honest way, but there's no way I could handle some parts of the WOR without the Moogle Charm!
