I prefer Dark Wave. For some HP, you could do great damage and also, it made Cecil look like a real Dark Knight, sacrificing himself to damage others n_n
But after he becomes a Paladin, then I say Jump.
- Twin was good, but you could only use the twins for a short time, and in my game, Porom died in almost every battle....

- Yang's skills were good, but Jump overcomes them.

- Throw and Steal, well...I can't really say since I got Edge yesterday.

- Aim can be good if you don't need to heal in that turn, but in my case, Rosa has to heal herself or Rydia in every turn.

- Tellah's skill to remember his old spells sucked ( at least for me ) I remember that every time I used it, I got lame spells like Frog or Pig ( and they always failed )

- Hide and the other skills from Edward...well...we all now he wasn't the best character in the game ( he wasn't even a GOOD character ) but his skill to use the potions was kind of useful, it saved Rydia's MP for Black Magic. It is way better than Rosa's Pray.

- Peep was kind of useless, but it saved the MP used in Scan.

- I haven't got FuSoYa yet.

Definitely Jump. Saved my keister against more enemies than I care to count. Could never get it timed quite right, though. sleep.gif
Second would be Dart. Especially with the Spoon. *snicker*

I liked Dark Wave when I had it. He could clear the battlefield of lesser enemies in Mysdia. I think it was about 80-100 HP to all monsters around level 15, not too shabby at all. Better than Level 1 Black Magic!

I liked Dart the best. I save all the dartable weapons from the early game, and when Edge is in the party, good way to get out of bids.
But I think I use Pray from Rosa the most. It's like she can't beat a enemy by herself, and if I can raise HP's, even a little, go for it.

Jump. Dart was a close second, but you can only have one Spoon.

Unless you can duplicate it or something. Either way without duping you only get one.

I'm going to run and Hide. . .

Just kidding with you laugh.gif . It would have to be Throw. Doing 9999 damage with nothing but a spoon is super cool. It makes a plothole though because arn't there more spoons in the world? If not what do they eat with? Well, I guess there are forks but they just aren't the same laugh.gif . Seriously though, throwing good equipment did allot of damage. If there was anything good to steal, it would have been Sneak. But I gave up on Sneak a long time ago.

Was always fond of Dark Wave so i dont see any reason to state otherwise happy.gif

All the others abilities have their finer points, but they dont appeal to me.. i *do* use them alot though, since it helps progress in the game neh?

I never got to use half the skills as I used the us version or whatever it was. first part of the game, attack, jump and item were the only things available. until I found CoN I didn't even know of the other skills

Jump because kain goes in the air then nothing can hit him for like 2 turns then when he comes down he does major damage to the enemy.

1st place goes to jump. FF4 was my first FF and I fell in love with the dragoons' ability to jump instantly. It's kickass and it save the hits on Kain.

2nd place - Cecil's Dark Wave.
Okay. I know it sucks up your own HP, but it was hella useful early on. AND I do so love the Dark Knight idea...why'd they make him such a wuss?

Dark wave simply because it looked cool, although I hated it because it drained life.

Blythe, I do believe that aim ensures a 100% accuracy with Rosa with her bow.

What is with Rosa's new ability, pray is it? I can't remember, haven't played it in a while. Random chance to heal a minimal amount of hp to the party.

I always liked Twin. I used to love Mt. Ordeals, fighting Milon, praying for that fire spell. I forget the name? Was it just your classic Flare? Whatever it was, it just made my favourite characters that much cooler. I've always loved attacks with a certain degree of 'gamble' to them.

Oh, and I liked Bluff and Cry too. Can't run! Gonna die! Porom! Start crying! 'Twas great.

I'm going by the Ps1 version, by the way. I never got too far into the SNES version.
