Just curious on how many of the games most people have. Mystic Quest and Tactics count; if you have two verions of the same game then only one counts; origins, anthologies, etc. count as how ever many games are on it.
I own 7. FF1 + 2 (origins), 4(SNES), 5(anthologies), 6(anthologies and SNES), 7, and Tactics.
I've beaten at least once: FF1, FF4, FF6.

I'm not real crazy about the FF series. FFVI is fantastic though, and FFVII was good for a couple of playthroughs but no more. The series has been horrible since then in my opinion. Before FFIV the series wasn't that great either.

I love final fantasy, but they aren't always the best RPG's out there. I own 12: FF I (Origins, Dawn of Souls), FF II (same as I), FF IV (SNES, Chronicles), FF V (Anthology), FF VI (SNES, Anthology), FF VII (PS1), FF VIII (PS1), FF IX (PS1), FF X (PS2), FF Mystic Quest (SNES), FF Tactics (PS1), FF Tactics Advance (GBA).

I also have Legend II and III and Adventure, all for GB, but those souldn't count (the first two are from the SaGa series, the third is actually Seiken Densetsu, the first of the Secret of Mana series).

I obviously wasn't clear about the rules...
1.In order for it to count, it has to have "Final Fantasy" stuck to the begining of its name, so games like Chrono Trigger don't count.
2.Count 1 for every number that you have, meaning that Origins counts as two. If you have Origins and FF1(NES), only count it for two, seeing how FF1 and FF1 are the same game. Same thing applies to Anthologies/FF3us.
3.Having FF2j and FF2us count as two because FFus is really FF4. Same goes with FF3j/FF3us
4.It's your personal decision on whether ROM games count or not. I say that they do count. I didn't mean for "own" to be taken literally. Besides, FF3j can't be found anywhere but online and in Japanese, so unless you're bilingual, you'd have to get it online or not at all.

I've never heard of Adventures or Legends before this, so I don't know, but I figure if I let FFT and FFMQ, why not them too?

If you have any more questions, please feel free to post them. I don't want my poll to confuse people.

So... 8 would be my answer there. Well, 7 cause I hate VII. Same goes if I owned X or X-2. I don't count coasters as games.

Edit: Forgot about Tactics Advance. Probably cause it's sitting in the box longing to be played. However, regarding my original post I consider it on the same grounds as VIII, X, and X-2. So I'm still at 7.

Let's see... I have the original non- greatest hits of everything except anthology, X-2, and Crystal Cronicles... oh and XI also. I would I don't have them here to count all the one I do have (since htere at my house and I'm not there), but I would say I have nine or more.
While we're at it (if the person who started the topic doesn't mind) I'd be interested in knowing what everyone has as far as collector's items go, for example: I have a Vivi plush doll with an official FF IX tag on it along with a few other collector's items I've bought over the years.

FFDoS and FFO would be the same thing by the rules of this thread. FFC and FFA would be 4 and 5, you already have 4 there. (He said only count a game once, even if a remake). Sooo you have: FF1, FF2, FF4, FF5, FF6, FF7, FF8, FF9, FF10, FF10-2, FF11, FFT, FFTA, FFMQ and FFCC. So you have 15.

Yo still have the most though, if it makes ya feel better.
