Well hate to make a Hi i'm new thread but it feels kinda weird to just start posting here without introducing myself. Â And just in case there is a rule about no Hi i'm new threads Sorry
So hello my names Gwah. Â Actully its Jeff but Gwah will do. Â Love the site and love the games so I figured might as well regester and love the Forums. Â I also like anime mainly in the form of Outlaw Star and DBZ. Â I try to be funny, witty and intellegent but after people see through that I just become the boring, sarcastic and idiotic guy I am. Â Oh yeah one more thing I am horrable at spelling so don't be suprised or worried if I start writing gibberish, because its not you its my crappy spelling I could just read profie's but thats not quite my idea of getting to know all of you so maybe if you could post a bit about yourself? Â That is if anyone replies. Â Plus are there any big rules that maybe arn't in the disclamer thing I need to know?? Â Or perhaps any slang this board uses that needs to be explained? Well nice meeting you all. -------------------- We all have our own hells and fires we must pass through, but when you have passed through them, you must ask yourself. Was I consumed by the flame? Or was I tempered by it? Quitsis - "Whip, Chaingun, don't bug me I'm killing" |

Welcome to the forums Jeff ^-^ We don't have any problems with "Hi I'm new threads" don't worry about that. As for rules...well, really we're in the process of writing up the rules page, so we'll have that up in a week or two. Basically, just keep up what you're doing now, you're doing fine from the messages you have. As with any place you talk, we don't stand for opinion bashing, racist/sexist/homophobic comments, a lot of swearing, etc. Also spamming, double posting...but hey, don't worry too much for now, you're new, if you do something wrong, we'll PM you about it.
As for slang...let's see...I can't think of any board specific slang, really. Maybe someone else can enlighten you...and they probably will. And finally, I'm Denise (or Elena99 on the boards) and I'm from Eastern Canada. Also I'm a staff member here, for about 2 years now. Oh, and I'm 21 and graduating from University in May with a BA in Sociology and Social Anthropology ^-^ -------------------- I had an old signature. Now I've changed it. |

welcome to the board, Gwah-ster
I go by Sabin, Sab, Sabbath, Rob, or anything original you might think up. Anyway, have fun and stick around for awhile. -------------------- "When I turn the page The corner bends into the perfect dog ear As if the words knew I'd need them again But at the time, I didn't see it." ~"This Ain't a Surfin' Movie" - Minus the Bear |

Hello, I've only been around for a little over a month, but I would like to think of myself as a guy to go to for non video game related advice, as thats what I post in most often. I've found the staff and members here to be very kind and helpful; it is an all round A+ site in my oppinion, so I'm sure that you can just post 'til your hearts content and no one will mind. As for myself, I am a master of all trades, jack of none. I do a lot of everything, and I'll share what I know when I see it might be helpful, or if anyone asks.
So again, welcome. P.S. I also use this guy a bit too often |

Hello Gwah, good to have you at the forums. I think you'll enjoy yourself, it's good that you asked about the rules before just going off and posting without a clue.

What college are you attending? I live up north in Portland and it's always nice to see faces from the northwest join, since it seems like the majority of posters are from regions other than the Pacific.

Hey Gwah -
Nice to meet you. I'm the resident firebird; occasionally spotted on the boards, consistently on the chat. And don't listen to anything one "Tommah" might say. This post has been edited by Phoenix on 23rd October 2019 03:29 |

Hi there, nice to meet you. Always good to see a new face.
Name's Super Moogle, but most everyone abbreviates it to SM. If you plan on staying a while, you'll probably see me in chat at one point or another, as well as filling the boards with my less-than-insightful chatter. I'm a real grammar freak, and a big fan of anime as well, as well as the resident CoN enigma. (No one knows or can reasonably guess my age, with one exception.) I hope you have a nice time for however long you'd like to stay. The people here are very nice and receptive, and the staff is great so long as you stay on the right side of the law. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! For the record, Outlaw Star is a perfectly good piece of work. Though it finishes last in its category (Cowboy Bebop and Trigun pretty much dominate the scifi/western action scene), it's got great animation and characters, a decent plot, and some fine gunslinging Caster-blasting action. Plus, Suzuka is really cool. -------------------- "I always have a quotation for everything - it saves original thinking." ~Dorothy L. Sayers "The truly remarkable thing about television is that it allows several million people to laugh at the same joke and still feel lonely." ~T.S. Hey how's it going. I'm Kappa. Just another guy these dudes picked up way back when. It's great to see new people, although there are a lot lately. You seem find though. Hope you stay for the ride. Drop into the Chat too, it's pretty lively usually.
Yeah, and Outlaw Star is a fine anime. Not as good as some, but decent at least. DBZ though...well...it's...uhh DBZ... -------------------- I find your lack of faith disturbing... |

late... as usual
anyway, what's going down Gwah?.... haha... Gwah! It's something really fun to say. GWAAAAAAH! anyway, as you've probably figured out, i may seem a little touched. but i'm just opinionated. i sometimes get rather annoying, but nothing to fear. i vent, then i leave. anyway, here's a little about myself... i'm 17 and a senior in high school. as soon as i get my early diploma in May, i'm jetting off to join the Air Force. I live in New Haven, Conn. i play drums in a band called Bombshell. Sab, as you've already been introduced, plays the bass and does lead vocals in that band. My favorite band is the Foo Fighters, Nirvana, and AC/DC. My favorite cereal is Lucky Charms. I work at a shoe store that I LOATHE ENTIRELY!! but it's cash, so i work. My turn-ons include bubbles, the back row at the movie theater, and phone booths. And my free time is consumed by finding the whereabouts of the Muffin Mun and finding out if the hokey-pokey really is what it's all about. and now that you know more about me than you ever wanted to know, Welcome to the boards! -------------------- Air force... if you ever join the militant wing, join the Air force Army = jockos Navy = seasick nerds Marines = show offs PeaceCorp = hippies AF is the way to go |

Heya Welcome to the CoN.
I'm Dragon_Fire, but most people here just call me either DF or Jason (which is my real name). I'm the local angsty teenage metal head who just loves to talk about music and anything morbid and fun. Also, like a few other members here, I'm from the more eastern side of central Canada, Montreal, Quebec. Enjoy your stay here. -------------------- Okay, but there was a goat! |

I remember a long time ago someone posted one of these threads, and it ended up everyone having a sort of 'battle', Sabin being one of the main contributors. He tried to steal my socks, but I don't have any.
Anyway have fun here. I'm the purple thing with a lot of arms. -------------------- Ouch! Seafood Soup! Delicious Morsel! Let me get my bib... |
