I have a sticky frog named Speedy which I squeeze like a stress ball when I'm feeling stressed out. It's so cool, you all should get one. Maybe I'll drop a picture off, my sticky frog is my best non-living friend.

Stress relief, for me, is writing or the Everlast bag hanging in my basement. Or flaming people in threads. Either/or.

My biggest stress relievers are poetry (laugh, if you must.) guitar playing and sad as it is, watching movies. Well, mainly movies that make you think or make you go "what the F***??!?". Sometimes reading works too, but I tend to read books all at once, so that I've finished them in two or three nights.

For me, sometimes just lying on the bed helps a lot, and other times, song writing can be therapuetic, too.

Whenever I'm stressed I take a shower. Ripping that shower outta someone's wall and lugging it around for a few hours helps, really. Oh, how I love taking showers...

Talking to myself about the problems while going on a long walk or a drive.
Practicing with my various weapons combined with meditation. Writing/drawing can help, but only if I'm in the mood. Listening to alternative rock music that has an easily-established "fight scene" feel to it, and sorta "dancing" to it. Well, not dancing, so much as crappily mimicking the fighting going on in my mind. Anyway, after listening to the same handful of songs a few times in a row, the stress is pretty much vented out. -------------------- And behold, I saw a Pale Gaming System, and the name of he who rode it was Squaresoft, and Enix followed him. |

when something stresses me out or pisses me off, i write a short (maybe 4 or 5 lines) rap(go ahead, laugh) about how much i hate it. after that, i feel tons better.

Drawing, chess, video games, general disscution and philosophy disscution (but sometimes philosophy can just cause more stress.). In other words, just whatever I would be doing if I wasn't stressed. If it can keep me happy, it relives my stress. Also, it helps to be a laid back person, many things don't bug you as much.

An hour's kung fu training session is a good way to unwind. That or a nice nap. Though if I'm really that stressed out, I tend not to have enough time to participate in either of these activities.

I don't get to vent my stress. Im sort of stuck on the compromising step as it is. I usually just convince myself it isn't that bad and pack it down into an ever growing ball of blech. Eh. I don't worry about it. I'm usually pretty laid back about most things anyways, so not alot gets to me.

I draw or play whatever videogame I'm on at the moment. Usually Ico or Call of Duty. Ico's the most common stress reliever. I like CoD and I love drawing, but they're a bit of a gamble. I'm as likely to get even more worked up going those routes.
Worse comes to worse, I pillow scream. If nothing else, it tuckers me out but I risk getting a headache. -------------------- |

Sleep is also good for clearing out a bad mood. Hence the term, "lets sleep on it and bother with it in the morning." I find that saying has a lot of merit, actually.

I play a video game whenever I need to relieve my stress... blowing something up or conquering somebody makes me feel much better and less stressed.

Programming. Nothing saps the drive to do anything out of you faster than programming. Programming will reduce you to a bland grey existance of no feeling.
Also, listening/singing to music in the car is a very good stress reliever. Alison Krauss and the Goo Goo Dolls are good candidates. P.S. Ahoy Sylph, Gears, Zeph. |

I just either walk away and do something else, or I just close my eyes and imagine absolutely annihilating the problem by burning it or smashing it with a hammer!!! (unless the stress is a game, 'cause I loves my PS2/GC/DS/any other system
