hello, im new here, and well, my ff6 file was erased recently and im getting it back...along the way i remembered all the cheesy, cheap crap i do throughout the game, and will post my favorites here.

as soon as i get gau and am able to wander around again, i take the long route back to the veldt, its long, but sooooo worth it, i stay there untill i run into an aspik. for those of you who dont know the aspik lets gau use giga volt, which is the equivalent of bolt 3.....so at level 12 ish, gau has bolt three....squeeeeee..gau toasted ultros at the opera in one hit, and makes quick work of a lot of bosses to come.

after you get to the world of ruin, learn inviz the spell as fast as you can, once you have it, cast it on yourself, i beleive you can do this outside of battle, if you cant, oh well, just make sure its in effect when the battle is over, then , equip the wall ring, and viola....an invisible rflected character, in addition, add some marvel shoes.......buwarharhar....which ,....makes them practically invincible untill later on when things are casting meteor at you or really anything that gets through reflect and counts as a spell ((which aint much)). do this to your whole party and ........*kefka laughter*vweeheeheehee.

not quite as evil as the first two but just as funny, if not more funny. low on MP? Osmose locke......he doesnt need it.

jack terra's magic....((as if you wouldnt anyway))... go to the magic tower.....fight the gay boss of doom ((magimaster)) and using terra's and hell...celes' too, ....long story short......rasp him to death, he cant cast ultima if he doesnt have mp......buwaharharhar ((i forget if you can morph terra in that tower, i seem to remember being able too, anyway, her rasp does too much))

on your first trip through the south figaro caves, dont get any chests, on your way back with celes, loot them, you should get a thunder rod from one, dont use runic with celes, and use the rod on the boss, insta kill.

there are a lot more, but i cant remember them at the moment......ill post them when i remember them, speaking of which, post yours.

Those are... uh... funny? More like useful tips, really. wink.gif

My favorite would have to be getting Gau before taking the ship to Thamasa; not normally accessible, but inserting him in your party via a game genie or other similare device unlocks a rather amusing scene once you try to board the ship. Credit goes out to Mnrogar's boards for that one, heh.

I used to get a kick out of the different events that'd occure if you took different people to the buffet aboard the ghost train. Shadow's wasn't funny, but Cyan panicking and the ghost flipping out were pretty entertaining.

Although, seeing as you have a somewhat skewed definition of humorous stuff, I'll add the classic Offering + Genji Glove combo with an illumina and an atma weapon; with high enough stats, and massive, massive luck, you can do up to 119,988 damage in a single hit. That assumes the illumina casts pearl every hit, though, which it probably won't.

Funny? Where's the joke? I like the piece of paper you find in the Returners hideout, you know the one that does absolutly nothing. Find it, don't throw it out and watch the conferece scene. But this is more like a tips and hints to make the game super easy topic. At least that's what me thinks. Here are some from me:

•Equip wall rings on all party members and fight Pearl Dragon. Nothing it does can hurt you.

•Use Fenix Down on the Ghost Train and Sr. Beheomoth's second form. Gets 'em everytime.

•Take Mog give him Moggle Charm and sweep out all the items from the Fanatics Tower, "Gogo's cave" and the Underground Castle. DISCLAIMER: Watch out for the falling roof in "Gogo's cave". Also there are four bosses but if you know where they are you can just avoid them.

Oh and SilverLance, Illumina won't cast Perl with the Offering. The spells casted after a weapon are negated somehow. Master Zed told me about it in the How to beat Chupon thread.

P.S. If anything got outdated since I opened this topic you can blame AIM and Yahoo IM.

Hehe, my bad. I've always just used Atma Weapon and Valiant Knife, personally, and that was enough to beat the game all the time. Sorry about that little bit of untested info. wink.gif

my definition of "funny":

anything that makes a character so rediculously invincible that it actually makes me laugh..........especially things the programmers obviously overlooked ((maybe not overlooked, but i sure as hell wouldnt program a boss that could be beaten with just reflect on everyone, or doubling a spells power by bouncing it off of your party after dispersing it))

Nah, you want funny? I read somewhere about one of Relm's sketch bugs, apparantly on the veldet it is possible to reenact some cut scenes and some other battles. The person who did this bug couldn't stop laughing watching Celes kill espers and General Leo. I'll see if I can't find that page...

Also could you elaborate on putting Gau into the boat? Also, what happens to your party when Relm trys to join?

going on mooglemadness's definition of funny, a nice trick with mog. equip:
snow muffler
merit award
illumina
decent shield, anything out of the following: aegis, genji, ice/fire/thunder, paladin
decent helmet, e.g. genji, circlet, red cap, etc
decent relic, e.g. white/zephyr cape, ribbon, wall ring, moogle charm (out of battle).

oh the possibilities! no random battles, 255 attack + defense, pumped up stats, 112+% mblock...all hail the super moogle! cool.gif

Basically, Gau leaves the party, waves stupidly, and runs off. Terra asks what's going on and Locke says something to the end of "He doesn't like ships. I'm afraid we'll have to leave him behind." It's nothing too special, but it's amusing nevertheless. Kind of like if the event scripters thought, "Oh snap, what if the party heads back to the Veldt in the meantime and Gau's there?" and then just made a quick scene on the spot to kick him out of the party.

Afraid of ships? He bloody well took one after the party left Nikeah!! wink.gif

You can see it for yourself by just adding him to the party before you leave for Thamasa.

here's one, and its plain and simple.

get all the weird guys together, like:

gau, mog, umaro, strago, gogo, general leo (if possible), kefka (if possible).

pick four, and go into a battle. now leave them there, and don't press anything. they will die one by one....... ok? not really funny.....

here's another one. cast all your team with float and go into a battle, and try running away. now it looks like scooby-doo! laugh.gif thumbup.gif
