I just found the Atma Weapon agin, and I like it, as most of evryone else . But what I never got was that:

"Transforms at level up, Grows stronger as HP increases"

I get the HP part, but what transformations does it really do? I know ig gets bigger, is that the transformation? or is it something else ?

(I am sorry if this has been asked before, but I did not find any topic in wich is was)

Oh hi. This question again. That description is poorly worded. Atma weapon's power is based on your HP. It's "appearance" is based on the damage it does. That is all. I'm sure someone more dedicated than me will show up 3 posts down with the equation, but that's the short answer.

That is one of the more misleading item descriptions in the game. "transforms at level up' only means that the attack graphic increases in size, the more damage you do. There are 3 different graphics for the length of the Atma Weapon when you attack, based on the damage that you do.

dam 0-500=short
dam 501-1000=medium
dam 1001-9999=long

I always thought it looked like a lightsabre in the 'long' graphic.

Note: 'grows stronger as HP increase' only pertains to the ratio
((HP/256)+1)/((MHP/256)+1). If this ratio is one, then the Atma Weapon will do max damage. If this ratio is lower than 1, then it will do proportionally less damage. Therefore, it is only relevant that you keep your current HP at max. It is irrelevant how 'high' your max HP is. Just trying to dispel the rumor that
having high max HP is how you get higher damage from the Atma Weapon. That is completely false.

Funny ya say that because that is EXACTLY what came into my mind when I saw this threads topic. And that's what I always think when ever I do good damage with that weapon.
