It's a reasonably well known fact that I'll do anything to avoid revision.  One of the fruits of my labours this semester is a lovely set of FF1 avatars, from both the NES and WSC versions.

Nice, I've always loved this game. Do you plan to Add more? I'd switch in a second if I could choose Garland. Again, Nice.

We've got an open avatar policy, so if you find an image of Garland that is suitable for general forum use, we'll add it to the general avatar collection.  Personally, I plan to ACTUALLY get some revision done now, I can't make excuses forever.  

Try this link. It will take you directly to a FFI "Zoo" that I just found. The pictures are actual pixel size, so they may have to be doubled. Chaos is on a different page (same site), however. Also, the site is a very good and compleat Final Fantasy 1 page. This link has some original Square artwork (four pictures); I think one of them might be usefull.

If I may make a suggestion, I would definitly include Warmech and Garland.

Very nice.  I'd definitely use at least one for a while, if I wasn't bound by name to my lovely little Caped Moogle avatar.

Final Fantasy I has always remained one of my favorite games, and though it was eventually eclipsed by the accomplishments of other RPGs, I always have fun playing it.  It's more than just nostalgia, too; the variety of the parties and the difficulty of some bosses (i.e. Warmech) keep me coming back for more.

The Wonder Swan Color additions are a great touch.

Oh yeah, very nice!  I actually always liked FF1 sprites, so now I get to use them.  Good show, Tidddles, good show.

Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN?

His cape's slightly different, if you look very closely.  It's a really rubbish upgrade, I agree, hardly noticeable.

I might get a couple of boss sprites sometime soon.  Won't be for a while now though, there is much to be done.

WSC is Wonder Swan Color, bud.  It's a lovely little handheld system that never made it to the US.  One of the games it has was a graphically enhanced FF1.

The clothes, not robes, of the upgraded red mage are white.
