Hi everybody ! I just found this site and I found it quite awesome
I really enjoy drawing so here are some of my fanarts... I don't draw much so most of them are quite old now, however I hope you'll appreciate them Girls from FF6/7/8 : Yuffie, Celes, Rinoa, Terra, Tifa, Selphie, Quistis and Aerith http://kicka5.free.fr/webNoir&Blanc/pages/ffsgirl.htm One of the saddest moment in all RPG's I've ever played... http://kicka5.free.fr/webNoir&Blanc/pages/aeris_death.htm Some invocations : http://kicka5.free.fr/webCouleur/pages/Shiva.htm http://kicka5.free.fr/webCouleur/pages/phoenix.htm http://kicka5.free.fr/webCouleur/pages/siren.htm Actually I didn't meant to draw Terra but it could be her : http://kicka5.free.fr/webCouleur/pages/elkya1.htm Rinoa : http://kicka5.free.fr/webCouleur/pages/rinoa.htm Rinoa again with Edea http://kicka5.free.fr/webCouleur/pages/edea-rinoa.htm And here are characters from various RPG's and animes in a SD style, my only work only colored with Photoshop... http://kicka5.free.fr/webSD/pages/rpginn1024.htm If you want to have a look on my other works, feel free to go see them at : http://kicka5.free.fr/WebDessin/index1.htm (I would be very pleased It's in french though (yeah I'm french!)... |

Oh wow...
I love your drawing style, it's incredible. My favourites are Shiva, Phoenix, and "Terra" I think. It does look a lot like Amano's Terra. Your general style reminds a lot of Amano, actually. I'll go look at your site soon. Good thing french is my second language :-P -------------------- I had an old signature. Now I've changed it. |

That Fandabidozi!
The Shiva and "Terra" are the best of a brillaint bunch, IMO -------------------- "Only the dead have seen the end of their quotes being misattributed to Plato." -George Santayana "The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here..." -Abraham Lincoln, prior to the discovery of Irony. |

I love them. That's a great collection. I added them to the fanart database. I wasn't sure how to classify the three summons, so I considered them as espers and stuck them in FF6.

These are VERY good works. I'm with Elena they do resemble Amano's style. You are very talented, I'm going to take a look at your site.
I don't know a bit of French but I think I'll manage. -------------------- -- You're Gonna Carry That Weight -- |

These are absolutely stunning. The style and the colors are so beautiful. The quality and quantity of these drawings are simply great, and they look very authentic and true to the games of which they're inspired from. How long did it take you to make all of these? Thanks for bringing these gems to CoN, and welcome!

-------------------- kame, tortue, tortuga, schildkröte, tartaruga, turtle "Arthur Dent?" "Yes." Those are stunning, Kicka. I like your style. I'd say the girls were some of the best. I liked how you were able to draw multiple objects and not get the lines confused. *is envious* Hmmm...the rest are great, too. Oh, and like Rujuken asked, did you go to an art school?

Wow, so many sweat critics, it’s been such a long time that I haven’t been taking a look at this forum
Elena99 >>The fact that some of my arts look like Amano's works is due to two reasons : first Amano is one of my favourite artists, I admire his unique style and his ability to change it, the way he uses colors, the general atmosphere of his drawings... Second point, the "Terra" artwork as well as some other ones were made at first for a RPG made by fans, which was meant to be a sequel to FF6... the character I drew was supposed to be Terra's daughter, and I was supposed to draw it a little bit in Amano’s way. But now I’m willing to try other styles so I try not to draw like Amano anymore, or not too similar to him. i90east & Ashe>> how long does it take me ? mmmhhhh very hard question... I think I'm pretty slow in drawing, but what takes me the longest is to know exactly what I want to draw (character's position etc ) and especially the colors' choice. For example, the Shiva artwork didn't took me too long because I had it in mind, so I would say : ½ hour for sketching the character, 15 minutes for inking it, 45 minutes to paint it, 20 minutes to draw the background, and 2 hours to colour it. For the phoenix I would say 7 hours, for "Terra" 2 hours… Kame >>most of my works are on my website, but many of them are old now, so I can tell that many of them do not look right to me anymore (legs’ length for example, stiff bodys etc…)… I don’t have good medias to draw, I simply use a normal pencil, or black ink for the black and white drawings, water painting and banal color pencils (some of them were used at school when I was 7…), I tried once oil pastels… DisasterChild8 >>I played those games a long time ago now and I don’t draw a lot, that makes a lot of free time Rujuken & 18WhiteStripes >> No, I never went to an art school and I don’t train a lot… I like drawing since I knew how to hold a pencil, but I never had that idea of taking lessons and getting better, I just draw whatever seems “drawable†to me, because maybe you don’t see it clearly on my drawings, but I usually avoid making difficult position for characters because I never learned for example how to draw a body… I began drawing characters when I was about 14, because I went crazy about FF7 |

Love 'em! Only the French sorta confused me, because when I pointed at the pictures with my cursor, the messages came up in French.... but that's not the point. Your drawings are mad awesome!!!
