Ok, what does everyone find attractive in the opposite sex? For me, I like someone who makes me feel comterable and good about who I am. I like someone who laughs at all my really lame jokes. A nice personality is a must. Also, I like someone who likes to laugh. A good dry wit is very charming as well. I like a girl who looks kind of soft, her features are soft and smooth. I also kind of like the way girls look in glasses, not all girls but some.
Some of you already know this, but I love redheads. I can't get enough of them. <g> I love redhair and skin that's kind of pale. I don't really like the tan look too much. It screams skin cancer victim. I like a girl who is athletic without being really "buff." Someone who is in good shape... esspecialy legs. Heh. The first two things I notice about a girl physically are her eyes and and her hair. If the eyes look alive then that's a good sign. Hair has to be taken care of too. I think eyes and hair tell a lot about a person. Oh yeah, I also love when a girl puts her hair in a pony tail for some reason... drives me crazy. heh. A girl's voice is always attractive to me if it sounds soft, but not too soft. Not a little girl's voice, just touched around the edges with a little innocence. I suppose I could go on, and perhaps I will later. But for right now, I'm done. |

Attractiveness is always a plus, but usually it's just that I talk to them alot and find little nuggets of joy in their personality. Bwahaha, I'm so nice.

Let's see...well, the first thing I usually look for is intelligence/maturity level. If the person seems mature while still fun and interesting, and is smart, I'm usually interested in talking to the person.
After that, appearance. I tend to like longish dark hair (to the ears or chin, or longer) and blue or green eyes. Palish skin, since that sort of goes with it anyway, and I tend to like people that are taller then me, though really, that's not hard to do considering I'm 5'0. I also don't like extreme thinness, having slim arms and legs and then cuddly tummy area is good ^-^ I also like people that are fairly sensitive, creative, and aren't sheep following around the masses blindly. Plus a weird sense of humour can be good ^-^ Elena -------------------- I had an old signature. Now I've changed it. |

Well, let's see. Eyes, and personality, as in, someone who isn't an idiot. Or terribly immature. Hair is something else I like too...although I think I must be picky, looks aren't necessarily put a lot of stock in. For example on the picky thing, my friends all think Bon Jovi is hot, and for the life of me I cannot see why.

well, they have to have a good personality. i think that's what i like most about a girl. they have to have be fun to talk to. they have to laugh at my lame attempts at humor, even if it's the slightest chuckle. i'd like a girl to be honest. if i ask her what she thinks of the story I wrote or the song i'm playing, she has to be able to tell me it sucks if it does.
of course, being cute and pretty is almost necessary. i love looking into a girl's eyes. She has to have a good smile. athleticism, i don't mind it, but i love to teach her how to kick a soccer ball or hold a baseball bat. i find that fun ![]() hmm, i think that's all i'm looking for -------------------- "When I turn the page The corner bends into the perfect dog ear As if the words knew I'd need them again But at the time, I didn't see it." ~"This Ain't a Surfin' Movie" - Minus the Bear |

Looks: Looks are important, but in my opinion, when you start to like somebody you will begin to find them attractive. I prefer darker hair, pretty tall, not anorexic. Fairer complexions are better, but not completely white. Also someone who doesn't wair excessive make-up to try to look better.
Personality: This is the most important. Someone mature, first of all. It's great if they're fun, too, that way they could be serious, while being able to handle my dumb weirdness. I hate preppy girls who dress up to impress boys and then don't wanna go out. Dumb and immature. I'd want someone who could stand up for themselves and be independent, and not be a follower. -------------------- Lou: There's a couple of guys fighting down at the aquarium, Chief. hmm...how to put this... An example of a perfect girl for me would be someone who sees imaginary people and has no problems have public conversations with 'em. She knows they're not real and that other people will think her nuts, but she doesn't let that get her down.
I'd like a woman who is geniuenly insane but with the confidence to not care what other people think. People like that act perfectly normal because they're not at odds with there...oddities. Someone that strives to be as honest as they can, curtesey be dambed. If she knows what she say might hurt someone's feelings, then she'll tell them so and ask if they still want her opinion. She knows that lying doesn't help in the long run. I kinda like that aggresive personality. I also know about how 'opposites attract', but I think I'd prefer someone more like my personality. I'd need someone I could relate to, cause I'm one of those 'shut ins' I guess. I wouldn't know how to talk to someone I didn't understand. Lessee...is there anything else... Nothing beyond the intelligence, quick wit (very important), and all the other cliches. Physically...hmm... Oh yeah, I go for Asian girls and I'm with Slyphid on the glasses. Something about 'em man... ![]() ![]() So yeah, that's it. I don't pretend that the physical aspects aren't important...they're more important than they probably should be when looking for someone to be with, but I can't lie about it neither. That's how I am. (I a man baby! Yeah!) But it's important above all else that she be crazy, be aware that she's crazy, but not let that change who she is. -------------------- |

If you want to know the kind of personality I'd go for, I suggest you read So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish by Douglas Adams (book 4 of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy). Â I would like a Fenchurch, please.
Lookswise, I tend to favour short girls, with a sweet smile and eyes I'd never get tired of looking into. Â An example is lovely Laura Wilson from The Tribe and Atlantis High. Â Mmm. I cannot end this post without saying something you may not have heard from me before: I like Cute Girls. |

Hmmm.... Lesse here...
I have to be able to talk to her. I like girls that you can hold an intelligent conversation with, and that I can discuss stuff like current events and things like that - I wouldn't be able to stand a girl who has no interest in the world around her. She must also be ambitious - "Man without vision shall perish." I also need to be able to have fun with her - if we can't hang out and have fun as friends first, how can we ever become girlfriend/boyfriend? I also have to be able to trust her, because without trust, there is no relationship whatsoever. As for her looks, which are way lower on the totem pole, she should be moderately in shape, but that's not a real big issue. I don't like girls that are really skinny or finicky about their weight all the time, and I absolutely HATE it when I take a girl out to eat at a nice restaraunt and she eats one cruton off a side salad. Long hair is almost a must - TRUST ME GIRLS, 99.9% OF YOU DON'T LOOK BETTER WITH SHORT HAIR. If I have one piccadillo (probly not spelled right ![]() One more thing. She must smell and dress nice. I try to make myself presentable whenever I am around females, and I with they could all do the same. I like a girl that wears good looking outfits, but I hate seeing girls get all hoochied out - it makes me feel dirty just talking to them. ![]() -------------------- "Hit hard, hit first, hit often." --Adm. Obvious physical likes that aren't really nececary: Redheads are foxy, I usually like girls with round faces and strait black hair, that's why I occasionally fall for asian women. (Not that I target them at all!) A girl that doesn't have huge boobs is good thing, unless she has the physique to support them..like an orange attached to a toothpick man... Muscles are ok on a woman so long as she isn't ay too buff. I have a tendency to ant a woman to dominate me, but not hurt me, too much... What?!
When a woman smiles I melt, when a girl's eyes sparkle with amusment, I melt. When a girl touches my hair I immeadiatly pull her to the side-lines for cuddle. ![]() I love a woman's hands, they're works of art. A drifve for cuddle, amoung all these things, is the far most important. I agree with Elena. Maturity is a definite must. I like guys who are: genuinely nice to little children, non-commitment-phobic, intelligent, interesting, non-Republican, open-minded, sincere, confident, interested in culture and learning and academia, humorous, and has a vocabulary consisting of more than monosyllables.
Unfortunately, it is nearly impossible to find all these traits in one person and the men who do possess them are either married or long dead, making me Spinster for Life. The girl of my dreams (that is not just an expression in this case. I dreamed about a girl I have a big thing for last night(it wasn't one of those kinda dreams)), above all, would have to be my best friend. I'm the sort of person who always wants a deep, long lasting relationship with just a few people; I don't go well with mere acquaintance. Her and I would have to 'fall in to each other' and be open to expression and confidance. Emotion is a must; she can't be dispassionate or insensitive. She has to be able to laugh when happy, and cry when sad.
Personality; big, of course. Mature, introverted, and down to Earth. Perceptive, but more logical than I. Well balanced between seriousness and a lack thereof. Similar to my own personality, but also able to compliment my where my faults are. I can't say looks don't matter, 'cuz you know as well as I that I would be lying. As far as that goes, I can't have too much variance. Hair length doesn't matter, and I can't be picky about height since not too many people I know are over 6'4". But, I prefer brown hair, and dark brown eyes - the kind of eyes that seem to hold limitless depth, wisdom, and some sadness. In terms of shape, I find I dislike what the stereotypical man finds attractive; that is, skinny with a large bust. Rather, I prefer an athletic-skinny, not an anorexic-skinny. And, I feel giggly and a little abashed to say this, but I prefer women with smaller breasts. /me giggles like school girl -------------------- Fear the Minstrel Boy, for he sings. |

Hmmm.
One of the most important things I look for in something is that they are easy to talk with. Good connversations are very important to me. Creativity is important too, whether it is artistic creativity or just spontaneity in her actions. Humor as important well. I, myself, am not that good with expressing my emotions, but I am drawn to those who can convey theirs. Maybe, she can rub off on me. It doesn't matter if the person has similar or different opinions as me, except in the area of politics. I'm not really sure if I could live with someone with a Conservative political view. I would be lying if I said looks didn't play a role, but the most important thing is a smile. A smiling female has a much greater draw over me, than one that doesn't have a smile on or a frown. Luckily, I have found someone who fills most of these traits. -------------------- "It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it." - Aristotle |

Most? *L* What one have I failed thee on? :P
What I want in a man.. Yikes.. talk about a can of worms. Anyway, the first thing I notice about guys, is hair. I have a thing for hair. I love it. Any color is good, but I have to admit, I have a major thing for blue hair.. *drop* Personality wise, I need someone who doesn't want to change me. I hate that. I have friends who try and change me, and I've had a few boyfriends who try to change me, and it just makes me harder in my ways, and makes me more stubborn. Instead of trying to force me to change, just.. well. I dunno. *L* I need someone who is just willing to gradually change things without my noticing. O.o; I have to say, that the way a guy smells is important. I like a nice, strong scent... I got that from Danielle. :P Blame her! I don't know. I just need someone I feel comfortable talking to, and someone who's willing to be there for me when I'm depressed and crying. Shoulders are a nice thing to cry on, especially when you love the person who has that shoulder. I guess that's my opinion on that.. -------------------- ..DDR..Maine.. ..Hikaroo-chan no Deviantart.. <Tiddles> And I love how people suggest "Why not call it my great name?????" when their name is clearly the worst thing ever. <Tiddles> "How about ; Mozilla Xplorer & Mozilla Xpress." <Tiddles> How about you die in a fire? |

Hmm...my kind of girl definately has to be somewhat smart. Ditzy girls agitate me. Being athletic is pretty big too...someone I can watch a game with and not have to explain to her what's going on. She has to be shorter than me, but I'm 6'2" so it's not too hard to be shorter than me. I like long blonde or brown hair and blue or green eyes. I like ponytails too for some reason. They've also gotta be cute and I need to be able to talk to her any time of any day and never get sick of it. And the most important thing is **SHE MUST BE TRUSTWORTHY**

well shes gotta be smart to some extent, a C average student for example would be fine. uhh, she has to have the same interests as me, she has to be trustworthy, creative, funny and fun to be with. id say it would have to be someone ive known for a long time.
As for looks, i have this thing for long brown haired girls, so thats a must. Eye color i dun care cause the brown hair makes any eye color look good(in my opinion), light skinned, somewhat good shape and not care about getting fat or anything, a pretty basic build. another thing, hygiene counts. shes gotta be clean and smell nice and dress nicely too. right now i care about getting into a good animation college, girlfriends can wait. ![]() -------------------- Why do kamakazi pilots wear helmets? |

Perfect girl, eh? tough one...
Between 5'0'' and 5'8'', cute, great eyes, nice hair (unlike Gerad, I think short hair is often cute), like everyone else, I think glasses are cute for some reason. A little thickness is good, not too skinny. Athletic is bonus points, but not required. Personality: I have to know them well before I move, I hate nothing more than when I start dating someone and see a new side of their personality (usually unpleasant). I like someone intelligent, laid-back (drama queens need not apply) sense of humor is a must (preferably a compatible sense of humor to mine) generally happy, spontaneous, and willing to watch ESPN every now and then. -------------------- Hip-Hop QOTW: "Yeah, where I'ma start it at, look I'ma part of that Downtown Philly where it's realer than a heart attack It wasn't really that ill until the start of crack Now it's a body caught every night on the Almanac" "Game Theory" The Roots |

Actually I wouldn't try to do anything more for a woman that was gorgeous, than a woman who wasn't. I've had girls complely voluntairily that weren't anything what I wanted. Then again I complely hated the "fine laidies" because they were just too damn annoying.

Trust me to arrive late...
I love a woman's bare shoulders. To me that's the height of feminine beauty *besides the chest and leg regions, of course, but we all know that* As far as personality goes, I like a girl with a sense of humor similar to my own *black, sick and twisted-all in good fun, though*. Also, knowledge/acceptance of a guy's *my* faults and such-mainly shyness. So far, the only women I've met with such qualities were either out of my league, gay, already taken, or all three. Sigh... Well what I'd like is a best friend who is a girl. I don't like being dominated(that didn't end well). Nor do I want to dominate her(because my only girlfriend let me do what I want with her and I had get the message no I'm not going to have sex with you). Just not right. Well also I want sex out of the equation. That way I can have fun and be happy. An equal partner that rules really. Personality doesn't bother so long as she isn't stupid ( stupidity and bimboness switches me off). Physically I don't care. Looks are a bonus end of story. Plus the girl has to have a decent sense of morality. Â

I love it when a girl wears a ponytail lets a long lock of hair hang down on one or both sides of her face. Man, that drives me crazy.
But as for qualities I like, I have to be able to carry on an intelligent conversation with her, and a common interest is a must.
