Alexander is definitely the coolest summon of them all, especially in FFIX. I fI'd have to choose another one I'd have to take Fenrir.

Bahamut. He's the king of dragons, the lord of summoned monsters, really cool looking, powerful, and in every ff that i have played. And, aside from in 7 , he is isignificant to the story or a side quest. Neo and Zero Bahamuts were a bad idea though. why would there be more than one Bahamut?

Anima. You don't screw with a giant monster whose special attack is simply called:
"PAIN" (unless you're a Tonberry, then you can mysteriously kill any superpowerful god creature by stabbing its voodoo doll replica... gah...) -------------------- And behold, I saw a Pale Gaming System, and the name of he who rode it was Squaresoft, and Enix followed him. |

Bahamut in FFVII. What do You choose? -------------------- The black wind howls again... Say, can you hear that? It's the sound of the Reaper... - Magus |

Knights of the Round from FFVII. Enough said.

That's tough, I like a lot... I think I have two I really like though.
First, there's Odin. No one hates Odin, prolly because they'd get cut in half if they do. Odin often had his own story segment to, or atleast a groovy timed battle. Second there's Shiva, she's got to be the best FF gal after Celes. Her best form was that in FFX. ![]() -------------------- The Arcana are the means by which ALL is revealed. |

My favorite summon ever is Bahamut. In almost every FF you have to do something hard to get him. He is the king of Dragons. In the late FFs he had great animations, although I didn't like his design in FF X, he will forever remain as one the best summons n_n

Bahamut, all those other summons were just for flash. Bahamut is and always will be the best Final Fantasy summon, although for Instant win in a regular battle you can't go wrong with Odin's Zantetsuken.

Any incarnation of Odin and his horse who inexplicably grew two more legs after FF4. Three cheers for big swords, funky helmets, and crappy accuracy!

I was always a fan of Jinn (FF4). I like fire, and he didn't cost too much for the damage he caused. Especially on undead and the likes. I remember using Jinn a lot in the caves of Eblan against the bats. And wherever the vampire chicks hanging from the ceiling were.

¿ Jinn ? I thought his name was Ifrit. Well, maybe the American SNES version had the names changed.

I dunno, I think maybe imp is the best summon (FF4) 1 damage is always enough to kill the guys I'm fighting.
seriously though... Jinn/Ifrit rocks! (and yes, I've only gotten far enough to get him in the SNES version, but that's because I have Kain on level 33 and haven't set fire to Mist yet.) so soon, I'll be able to get past Octomamm (or whatever it's called in this version) and then I can level Tellah to insanely high levels before I go kill a spoony bard. I like Bahamut better than Meteo though, forget the ultimate black magic (sorry Ancient) I'll take the ultimate summon because it costs half as much. (If I remember correctly) anyway, that's long winded enough -------------------- I'm the root of all that's evil yeah, but you can call me cookie. -BHG FF3DS friend code: 4424-8076-6097 |

Knights of the round is the greatest i think next to Neo Bahamut. I mean doing more than 9999 hp worth of damage is sweet. i dont know why they didnt put them in more ff. Maybe theyll have it in FF XII. A guy can only dream. *Sigh*

It's dawned on me that the [should be] strongest and most intimidating summon is Fat Chocobo. That's just the greatest.

Hmm...favourite summon...they're all good, but someI really liked, in no particular order:
Atomos (G-Force 199)-Sure, it does damage based on opponent's HP, but it could easily hit 9999. Syldra (Thunderstorm)-Fairly low MP cost, just found out it deals Wind damage. I use this very often. Seraphim (Reviver)-Angels are cool. Kirin (Life Guard)-Regen is quite useful in FF6. Unicorn (Heal Horn)-Found it VERY useful in FFTA, healing and removing status ailments. -------------------- I'm a general, not some opera floozy! *insert humourous observation here* |
