Do you have a college or university near you? Go there and check their library; that's your best bet, really. Online information can be biased, have holes in information, or can be outright wrong and outdated.
Plus, it impresses teachers more if you go to a library. :-) You can also study for your exams there in (relative) peace. Sorry, I don't know any websites for that. This post has been edited by Elena99 on 3rd October 2004 21:33 -------------------- I had an old signature. Now I've changed it. |

i'll do that tommorow, thanks for the suggestion. i was just hoping to not have to look through book after book to find what i'm looking for. then again, that's about the same as looking through website after websit, isn't it?

That or check Webquest sites. They are sites used to help teachers with making lesson plans but I am sure they have lots on Ancient Greek.

Do you want to learn about education in Ancient Greece or education regarding the Ancient Greek language. If it's the latter, I suggest checking a book store. That's where I found the Ancient Greek book I used to teach myself. If the former, then I suggest going to the library.
On second thought, how "ancient" are we talking about? If you mean ancient as in ___ B.C.E., I may be able to help you. Emphasis on may. I wouldn't count on it too heavily. -------------------- Is PJ |

Here's one:
Ancient Greek Education I would suggest going to a bookstore or library to get the information, as the internet is not entirely reliable. The above link, however, is reliable (i used it). If you can't find a book, then use the internet. But, do an advanced search and look only for the sites with the ending .edu, because that means it was written by some college professor guy (or something of the like). -------------------- Music is a mysterious thing... Caesar, the assignment calls for me to do a report on what the greek education system was like from 2000 B.C.-300 B.C. i have to get my facts in order, then come up with a lesson plan that will cover 15-20 minutes, and actually stand in front of the class and act as a teacher.

Try one of my favorite sites...it is filled with that sort of stuff, and you will almost certainly find what you need there.
