I've heard a lot about Orlandu, mostly that he is too overpowered. Now, I want everyone to tell me more about Orlandu; tell me some of his abilities, etc. I haven't got Orlandu yet, because I have not yet gotten past the battle in Goug.

Orlandu's Lightning Stab is what gives him this reputation. It is just the same as Agrias's but with a bit more - no, a lot more - damage inflicted upon the target. I don't want to spoil the surprise when you get him, so I'm not going to reveal any more information. There's always the FFT page on CoN....

My goodness, you are right!!!! Not only does Orlandu have way more abilities than anyone else(I just read up on his abilities) but he also has abnomally high attack power!!! Holy Crap!!!!

For the first time through the game I recommend using him, since the game is already so difficult as it is. Then the next time that you go through, you can enjoy a challenge and limit yourself by not using him. Either way is fine of course, there's no shame in using Orlandu. I certainly did in my first game.

yea, he's like a walking tank on the battle field.
his Attacks are mayjor strong!
he's also Agrias, Meliadoul, and Gafgarion conbin. (altho Gafgarion is dead tho)
for my Deep dungeon battles, my party is
Agrias and Orlandu (to kill off the enemies.)
Cloud ( for Finishing touch in hope for ether Stop or kill and to train him as well)
Rafa (my rare item finder)
Beowulf (for chicken and sleep on the enemies to buy me time for my guys to find the "Exit" and "treasure")
yea, he is the strongest fighter in the game.
with him on your side and no knight will stand in your way.
I tryed a random battle once with just Orlandu and he took out everybody with 1 or 2 Lighting stabs.
that battle didn't take long since my battle ground is Mandalia Plains and they had weak enemies such as Squires, Red Panthers, and Gobins and Orlandu was mopping the floor with them.

I really hate the character of Orlandu. His skills are indispensible though. I just hate that he's this goody-goody perveyor of justice and he's so revered or whatever. He's just not charismatic enough to have such power. Anyways, I use him when I need to wipe people out or when poaching stuff.

It's always good fun to beat him down too

I think his lack of charisma was deliberate.

He's the pious, humble, wise leader of men that you see in the game.... not a swashbuckling fraud that can't back up what he spews out of his mouth.
