Is there any other area where you can find small red Mag Roaders than the mine cart area in Vector? They never show up for me.

as far as I know there isn't another area where you can find them

Hmm...
After doing the mine shaft part 4 or 5 times, I'm finding that the enemies always appear in the same order. So am I screwed? I was hoping for a perfect Rage list this time through. ![]() |

You're not screwed. The Mag Roaders show up as all the same thing in the rage list anyway, so if you get one type you get the rage. There are different Roaders in the WoR as well.
From what I have been told, depending on the lead person in the party different formations of enemies show up. I always have Sabin in the lead and always get both types. Just try changing your lead character. Hope it helps!! -------------------- "Look at me! I'm a receptionist! G'fa ha ha!" Quote Ultros |

Well, I went past that part and already saved. I didn't know that the lead member altered the enemy groups, and I figured that it wasn't worth all the trouble just for Mute.
But are you saying that if you rage one Roader, you get all 4? This post has been edited by Stryker on 4th September 2004 21:19 |

So it seems. I have raged both roaders, and only one was added to my rage list.

That's not true. There's no special treatment for Mag Roaders on the Veldt. When you Leap the big purple one, you receive the Rage of the big purple one. If you Leap the small brown one, you receive the Rage of the small brown one.

Maybe I just didn't get the WoR Mag Roaders then.... but just to be sure, how do they differentiate it then?

isn't it true that if you leap on a monster that you'll get every monster of that group in your rage list

Yes. You also get the monsters from the group where Gau joins your party again.
