Personally, I loved this game. I like the battle system, the whole finding different pieces and bulding the world, and the soundtrack was pretty good too. From what I've heard, most people generally were disappointed by it because they played Secret of Mana. I've never played that game, but still think Legend of Mana is a must buy. What do you guys think?

I already have it, and I love it, I love the soundtrack, battle system, story, and...and...and...Sproutlings!!! Also, IMO the glove is the best weapon because of the Hands of Midas Plunge attack, followed by the spear because of the Gungnir Plunge attack, then the 2 Handed sword because of Ragnarok
I also suggest if you don't have it that you buy it. -------------------- "I could've slapped you, But a bullet's more personal."- Congo Terrorist 1, From SOCOM SOCOM: ':SE:'007 Clan: Silent Echo  Tactics: Grenades, Run & Gun, Sniper    The turning of the tide in a battle begins when one retreating soldier makes the decision to head back into the fray. |

I definitely want to buy, and my favorite weapon is the staff. I'm just a staff kinda guy.

I enjoyed the game, but I definately liked SoM a lot more. I found the lack of a central plot kind of hurt the game as a whole. On one hand you can tell a whole lot of stories, but on the other hand I wasn't motivated to do some of the quests when they didn't tie in to anything else. It was the funniest RPG since Earthbound, though.

Is it possible to Summon because it looked like I saw someone Summon Leviathan or Phoenix? Also, how do I learn all the moves. Is it by using the different weapons?

i don't think you can summon monsters, just the elementals, undine wisp salamando shade, things like that. to learn the moves you mix different actions i believe, each weapon learns different things from mixtures of two commands. LoM was a great game, good replay value. but came up a little short in contrast to SoM and SD3. I like SD3 the best though because its so interactive. i like being able to choose chars and whether they go to the darkside.
p.s. is it just me or does the guy char of LoM look a little fruity?... -------------------- This one time I punched a bear in the forehead TO DEATH! I still have the scars on my chest. Yeah, to get a Chocobo, you need a slot with FF8 data on a memo card you're using. Then the chocobo will appear as your first pet.
I liked LoM a LOT, but I ended up selling off all my old PS games and memo cards, so stuff like my level 50 Polter Box and my 334 attack power staff has totally dissappeared, never to be seen again. Oh well ![]() Nonetheless, a very fun and entertaining game |

I borrowed this one for like 6 months, but I have to say it's one of those 'one in a million' games. It was so abstract, but cool...like beatnik poetry...
The 'blank slate' idea was cool. (You're stats change by what weapon you use) The 2handed sword and 1handed axe were probably the best. The Glove and Flail gets my fun award. the bow and arrow sucked thought...why not Javielin? they should of put a bow and arrow ally though... Oh yeah...Elazul rocks... -------------------- Really Random Quote of the Day: "Short of changing human nature, therefore, the only way to achieve a practical, livable peace in a world of competing nations is to take the profit out of war." - Richard M.
