A rather simple question that doesn't involve an in-depth study.
I like the Calculator's outfit -- male, of course (No offense to the females). Males have got the mohawk and the duds. Females have long hair and duds. What threw me over the edge with the Male Calculator, however, was the mohawk; plain and simple. I dig the Samurai garb. I would say Lancers... but those wings on the helm have simply *got* to go.

The wings on the Helm?! Dude, that basically makes the Lancer's outfit. The Samurai armor is awesome, I have to say.

The cape is what makes the Dragoon outfit rock... the wings... kinda make them look dorky.

Look at my avatar. You know what picture that's from? That's right, the Knight. The Knight outfit is the coolest looking one there is. No emotion on his face, just his cape in the wind & his sword in your face. And he looks even better standing next to his Knight lady-friend

Female samourai outift is my favourite. I don't really like the full armor of the male samourais...too heavy, I guess.

I like Izlude's. Makes him look kind of dashing
For Job class id have to say Mediator. They look proud and regal in that uniform. I dont see why theyve got a wrapped around towel on their heads, though |

The flowing robe she wears makes her look royal and important but not so much that it inhibits her movement. It also adds a bit of mystery to her since you can only see the tips of her shoes, her face, and her gauntlets that she wears. Mr Thou nailed it dead on, the female samurai has the best outfit of the regular job classes. Honorable mention for the male knight, but still female samurai
If you include special classes, you've gotta go with Meliadoul. It was a nice try on Wiegraf's part, but just not quite right(Maybe if the shrine knights had had silver armor, gold isn't as pleasant) |

damn it, shotgunnova, you beat me to it. i, too, like meliadoul's outfit best of all. for the generic character classes, i would have to say the oracle (male especially) has a very colourful and well-designed costume.

Male Knights are overrated. They look so...bland.
 After staring at the screen fo my TV for quite some time, my decision has changed. Geomancer. So flashy. Long hair. Headband. I don't see how you can stand to look at the female Monk's outfit; it's ridiculously ugly.

i like the female samuria outfit. the male and female ninja look cool and ramza from chapter one. i like the priests as well. in fact im going to have a cloak made to look the priest robes.

I havent Played Much FFt (Like the 3rd Mission in Chapter 2) but the Male and Female Squires, Male Black Wizard, and Female chemist are about it for me. Oh wait I forgot the Dancer, Female Knight, and Female White Mage (Or was it preist....)

Meliadoul's sprite is in my opinion the best one by far. I think it's the Big sword behind the flowing robes that gets me. Although, if they would NOT have added those gold Gauntlets I don't think she would still be my favorite.

Meliadoul doesn't have a sword on her back -- unless you're referring to Save the Queen in her equipment box. Other than that, no-go on the sword.

I'm guessing that DeleterFX was talking about Meliadoul pulling the large Save the Queen sword from under robes, when that'd probably an unlikely place to conceal such a thing.
