Crusader is the most useless Esper, since nobody uses it. So, for what Esper you would change it? A new Esper with a new attack, set of magic... use your imagination.

Actually, I like the idea of the Holy Roller summon. There's always room for some Kevin Smith-esque humor.
![]() Summon: Death (sort of like Hades, but with more of the typical grim reaper appearance). Attack Name: Ultimate Roulette (because I can't think of a more creative name). Attack: When summoned, it casts a more deadly form of the Roulette spell. In other words, instead of going back and forth between each individual character onscreen until the pointer stops on the unlucky party member or enemy, the pointer would instead go back and forth between the ENTIRE party and the ENTIRE group of enemies. Whichever side it lands on would be completely wiped out with an insta-death spell. This could mean either every enemy in said battle could instantly be defeated or your entire party could be KO'd in a flash. Summon not effective against bosses. Not someone I'd summon much myself, knowing my luck. Stat Bonus: MP + 30% Spells Learned: Doom x20 Demi x25 Warp x15 Meteor x1 -------------------- Words of Wisdom: If something can go wrong, it will. If anything simply cannot go wrong, it will anyway. If there is a possibility of several things going wrong, the one that will cause the most damage will be the one to go wrong. - Murphy’s Law Boing! Zoom! - Mr. Saturn |

Ok, on with the seriousness now.
-------------------------------- Ark of the Covenant -------------------------------- Summon ------------------ When summoned, the Ark appears. A ball of energy starts to grow between the two eagles' wings, which grows out to encompass the whole screen. The lid of the Ark blows off Heavenward, and a huge angel sweeps across the screen with a sword, a'la' Raiden style. Holy and fire elemental damage done to all enemy units. Spells -------------- The Ark teaches Ultima x25, Life3 x 25. And yes, when you summon it, it looks a little something like what you saw in Indianna Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. ![]() -------------------- Join the Army, see the world, meet interesting people - and kill them. ~Pacifist Badge, 1978 |

Crusader II
Summon: The ground between the enemy and the allies fissures until a large cleft has formed. The Crusader rises from the abyss, unsheaths his sword and flips it up into the clouds before plunging back into the midnight. If the sword cleaves into the enemy ranks, their HP is reduced to 1; if it falls into the allies, they all become imps for the duration of the battle and can't be un-imped. Obtained Whelk gives this to you if you don't attack it for fifteen straight turns. Stat Boosts: HP -30% MagDef + 10% Teaches: Ultima x 1 Meteor x 1 Muddle x 50 Maybe this could be the most worthless now. ![]() This post has been edited by Shotgunnova on 13th August 2004 12:38 -------------------- It's gonna be a glorious day I feel my luck can change |

I recognize that Jesus picture. When I saw it, it read "Jesus loves you! (but I think you're an asshat)".
But as far as my opinion goes: Keep yer hands off of my darling. Crusader is the most advanced graphic achievement in the game. Love it. Also, as it's not defense-ignoring, it's not even necessarily useless in all situations. -------------------- |

Djibriel, I don't understand why the most difficult esper to get has to be an unfocused attack. I know that it was surely sealed for a good reason, but I would like a big summon that requires a LOT of mp for BIG damage.

Hey, at least it wouldn't attack something entirely different as the actual monsters, just because that other thing gets the party more GP.
Goonies: I never said Crusader was a usefull summon. Because it isn't. I do remember a few times where the outcome was pretty positive for me, though. With the right tweaking, you can avoid some damage from your side. Edit Why, Hamedo? You *want* to get smacked over the head with that newspaper, don't you? How, exactly, does the party get more GP by deposing Kefka in 'that other thing'?

I have to say that you have a lot of imagination. I like your summons! I don't know which Hamedo's summon I prefer: Bush or Moore. In the beginning, this was a serious thread. I wanted to change Crusader but I had no idea. But I found! I want to change Crusader in a hack that I'll start when I'll move to Gaspé.
I want to change it for Tiamat, which makes more sense (to me), because it's a dragon. The most EVIL dragon!!! After that the heroes kill the eight dragons, the usual message appears. After, the screen shakes, there are some lightnings. Then, a battle starts. Tiamat, the monster "Mha ha ha! Humans and their desires! I'm free at last!..." Doesn't remember something to you? HP 60000 x 200 = 12M HP MP ...Infinite! Difficulty a real tough lvl 99 challenge. Tiamat, the summon Description Legends say that Tiamat almost destroyed the world during the War of the Magi... Attack Mass Destruction (A non-elemental launcher attack, unblockable, around 9000 damage each time). I have a little idea about the attack but I don't want to speculate too much because maybe I won't be able to do it. MP Needed 200 MP (don't count on Economiser, maybe Gold Hairpin, MAYBE!!!) ![]() Bonus Mg Pwr + 3 (I wanna hack a little here too) Spells learned Ultima x 1 Merton x 10 Quake x 10 W-Wind x 10 Meteor x 20 TIAMAT SHALL RETURN...
