After the event concerning Terra where

, you're given the option to form a party. My party always consists of Celes, Locke, Edgar, and Sabin.

Later in this sequence of events, during the opera part,

Celes makes a bet with Setzer: she'll flip a coin, and if she wins, he lends them his airship; if he loses, she marries him. During this sequence, Celes talks to Edgar and presumably obtains the two-headed coin from him. Sabin comments, as well.

My question...what is this scene like if you don't take Edgar in your party? I can't see how it could possibly be the same, or make much sense, without at least one of the Figaro brothers. Has anyone ever done this without them?

Does that completely replace the other sequence of events?

Yes, it does. It's a lesser version compared to the coin toss version, though.

In fact: no, it doesn't. Celes will produce a two-headed coin out of nowhere anyway and the Celes/Setzer marriage bet continues as it would when Cyan and Gau are around.

Djibriel is right, she simply produces a coin on her own.

Well, the question's been answered. Mind if I ask a question?

One time, I tried to keep Locke out of my team, and the thing got messed up, and all I ended up with in my team were Edgar and Cyan. I went back to Narshe to change my team...

Does anyone know what happenes if Locke and Celes aren't in your team???

As far as I know, once you go through the events in Zozo you are unable to remove Celes and Locke from your party even if you go back to narshe. blink.gif

I just wanted to have Edgar, Cyan, Celes, and Sabin in my team. So I tried to put Sabin in the spot Locke was supposed to be in...

...but it didn't work.

So I tried to move Cyan to Locke's spot...

...didn't work.

So I tried to remove Celes,

but it didn't work. Then I tried moving her to Locke's post...

But yet again, it didn't work, so I tried to put her back in HER spot...

...but it didn't work, and for some reason I couldn't move Edgar and Cyan.

Here's another one... if you wait to get Celes until later in the WoR, and come back with another party (possibly with her in it, I didn't), you can save the kid in Tzen and get Sabin. I had Gogo lead the party, it was a pretty fun scene seeing Gogo kneeling down to talk to Sabin with a caring tone in *its* voice.

What are you talking about? I didn't know you had a choice to *not* get Celes. Aw jeez now I'm mixed up. pinch.gif

!! Or did you simply mean to say "if you wait to get Sabin"?

Edit
Sorry, I will be more clear. You always get Celes. If you wait to get Sabin until later, whoever is leading your party will be talking from the perspective of Celes. In my case, it was Gogo and I thought it was rather funny!

I think they meant it was possible not to get Sabin.
