i'm at the part of the story where Sabin and Locke have been seperated from everyone else. i'm in the town where Locke starts off and i've already stolen the green armor. what now? i can't find anywhere to go.

Possible spoilers: highlight to view Go to the item shop, steal the merchant's clothes. Talk to the old man's child downstairs (south of the item shop) in the merchant clothes to pass by. Go into the Inn, down the stairs by the bar and talk to the merchant there. Steal his clothes for an easy win, and you get the old man's cider. Return to the old man's house (by the item shop) and give him the cider. He will say "uh, I forget!" about the password. Go downstairs and talk to the boy, and give him the password "courage", and the boy will open a secret passage to the rich man's house This post has been edited by Keith on 30th July 2004 00:28 |

Go into the cafe and then go down the stairs to the right of the room. You need to steal cider from the guy down there, and switch back to the merchant clothes. Give the cider to the old man in the house to the right. The old man is supposed to give you a password to give to the little kid blocking the stairway, but he can't remember it. However when you go to the little kid, you'll have 3 options for a password, and you're supposed to guess which one it is. It's "courage". Then you go into the mansion and find the bookcase with the wind noise. Go behind the bookcase into another room that leads to the secret passage under the house. Wind the clock down there to reveal a door.
