Well, I just started my new file on FFT last night and I must say, I really like it, it is the same TBS (Turn-Based Strategy) formula from FFTA, and I like it, I also like the Fact that there are no judges and you can rotate the map around in Battles. So I do like it, even though I am only on the 6th battle in the game (The first one with wizards in it), I think it is going to be a game I am going to really like, and I am impressed with the game.

What do think about FFT?

Its my favourite FF and one of my favourite games altogether. The story is awesome as well, although a little confusing at the start.

FFT is a game that will always be one of my favorites, if not my absolute favorite. It has a unique plot and characters, deep customization and good gameplay/graphics for the era, and a very high replay value. Awsome game, simply put.

and a very high replay value

This is surely the last thing I check before buying a game, normally I look waht kind of plot the game will have, battle style, (for RPGs) and things like that, never looking the opinions from people I don't know.

I liked all the games I bought that way.

Really? Replay value is one of the first things I look for. I don't like shelling out X-amount of dollars for a game, only to beat it and be totally bored with it thereafter. Tactics gives you TONS of replay. You can customize endless parties to be whatever you like. I love it.

I bought Devil May Cry when it came out..... played it for 14 hours on the Saturday I bought it, and beat it. Then.... well..... it kinda sucked playing it again. That's why I ask around about replay value now. It isn't THE deciding factor on whether I get a game or not, but it is definetly high up on my priorities list.

It was one of the best games of FF but short...my first FF game...but then...
Possible spoilers: highlight to view
someone...broke it(I'm not going to tell you because it's most shocking...no it's not a little sister/brother or younger siblings...or an enemy...it's someone else...someone who did this is most shocking...)I miss that game...

The best ending in FF I loved the plot, music, blood, and battle system it's a great game! thumbup.gif

Dragon Lancer... was it your parents? happy.gif Just a guess.

It was a bit short... especially when compared to the other FF titles. This is one of the very few complaints I have with the game.

I think the game is too much easy. Math skills could have been at least half damage and half %. And there are some rigged stuff like:
Ifrit = Fire 3
Exept that Ifrit doesn't hit allies, Much bigger range, and cannot be calculated (ohhh too bad). The speed, MP cost, and damage are all the same... I find taht a bit strange.

I would have like that they replaced T.G. Cid for an Arc Knight like Zalbag, his skills are very useful and aren't deadly like Orlandu wich makes the game too easy. (Speed ruin: -3 speed, 20 MP, 34 Speed, effect 2, vertical 1... WoOt!!)

I like the replay value. So far I'm on my fourth game, and have games with 80, 40, and 20 hours on them, though none are finished. :\

Aye. After completing the game its hard to resist selecting "new game" again and trying out a new job class combination...

DragonLancer... I'm shocked... who would do such a thing to the masterpiece that is FFT :/

yeah, like everyone was saying, this game has an inordinate amount of replayedness to it. it's awesome. I've played through the game 6 times each time with over 100 hours and I'm still playing 8 years later (started a new file a week ago)...........that is replay. And I still haven't done everything
