Hmm, I just had a quick question. In the PSX version of FFVI, could you change the names of Cyan's sword techniques (ie. Retort, Empower, Dispatch, Cleaver, ect.)? You could change the names of said attacks in the Japanese SNES version of FFVI, however, I'm unsure about the PSX version (as I don't own it... yet).

I don't think so. Then again, i've never tried, nor for that matter, did i even know any version allowed them to be named, but as far as i know, the Playstation (PAL UK) Version does not

I've never heard of any version allowing to rename anything in the game exept the characters, it was surely a skill category from another game.

The original Japanese release of the game definately had this ability. Although I don't know for sure, I don't see why the new release would have this ability. I'm sure they took it out for a good reason at the time.

Yeah, you could in the Japanese version of FFVI. As for a good reason for taking out a feature... I don't know about that. If someone owns the US version, give it a try, I'm interested to know.

You can't alter there names ,I have a PSX
