Yeah..interesting title, I think not. It's straight to the point though, this is a composition I'm required to do for my music course. The only real requirement is that it has to be at least 5 minutes long, so I'm still missing 40 seconds..but considering it doesn't have to be finished until next May, I think I'm pretty ahead of the game. smile.gif

We're allowed some very minor theme and variation with an existing theme, so anyone who can recognise the tune playing in the first minute wins a cardboard cookie or two. happy.gif It's rather obscure though...

And just for the record, I hate midi. The dynamics are horrible to control with the sequencer I'm using and nothing sounds like it should, except perhaps the piano...a little. The french horn especially sounds like a cat getting thrown out a window. Sorry to all you cat-lovers, but there's not much I can do about it... sad.gif

No, you hate the onboard synth on your sound card. The timbre and the dynamics(mostly) have nothing to do with MIDI. That's like blaming a musical score for the violins being out of tune.

granted it soundstliek soemthing out of snes or someting, it's not bad. i always liked the softer instrumentso the intro is played well enough. and it's nice... i would like it to tell a better story, sut it has the basic elements. keep fiddling with it. damn, thisdtheme sounds familiar, but i can't put my finger on it.
