I also wanna know which one you thought was the hardest.

they all where pathetic.thats why i am making emerald.anyway,ruby is the only one i use 4X cut and bahamut zero on.weak weak weak.anyway,the weapons were cool,but weak.but yes,i defeated them all,(and scored a nice master materia set)(never got contain....however... CON tain would be better....)

Well... Ultima and Diamond are wusses, but I've never gotten Ruby or Emerald... ^^;

some people said that Ruby was the hardest, but I don't seem to understand that...

maybe it's about that Ruby weapon can cancel or it's too strong on lower summons... or it can do that whirlsand thing swallowing your characters from combat, well when the first time when I bumped him I was a bit surprised.

I think I saw that on a website, the person was wrong in my opinion...

The Ultimate Weapon why was it called that anyway? it was a chicken it kept running away... I think Diamond weapon is better than that runaway...in my opinion...

Yeah, but it did give you the best sword in the game!

I beat Emerald, but I never got around to fighting Ruby. I could definitely beat him with the KotR over and over technique, but I'm not ready to bore myself to death for a Gold Chocobo (which I already have). If I can find my FF7 again I might give it a shot again.

I beat all of them. I beat Emerald as well without any clue as to how his Aire Tam Storm attack was calculated. He was just bloody hard and it took tons of megalixers. (I did know the w-item trick however).

I started a topic similar to this called "Emerald vs. Ruby" (I think I called it that)... oh well, I beat them all... Ruby I beat and managed to keep all three characters thoughout the entire fight by killing them before battle and then casting phoenix to bring them back after the fight started. In all Ruby only hit me twice the last time I fought him because thanks to Tiddles I found out about the Hades method since he isn't immune to stop and cast Hades and then KoR, then I mime it 'till he's dead. As for Emerald he was much harder since I required the Final Attack Materia t obe maxed out because of that freakin' Aire Tam Storm. Emerald was much harder and took quite a bit longer to kill.

Don't you have to defeat Diamond and Ultima as part of the story? Maybe I'm misremembering.

I can't beat Emerald or Ruby without cheating. If I use a GS code to put Aeris (blech) back in my party, I can take Emerald.

I've only defeated the ones that you need to defeat (Diamond and Ultimate). For some reason, I have no desire whatsoever to tackle the others.

I had an old signature. Now I've changed it.

You don't need to kill Ultimate Weapon in the game. You need to fight it in Mideel, but it runs away. Once it's available to fight again, you're free to just leave it alone if you want to.

Beat 'em all, but not until I got KotR and Final Attack Materia hooked up with Phoenix did I finally beat Emerald & Ruby.

P.S. for karasuman: Ribbons and magic plus Materia help mucho for Ruby. No stat. ailments and KotR does more damage. It actually doesn't take that long.

I beat them all, I thought the Ruby Wepon was a pain to beat, the Emeral weapon was a chich, same with Diamond Wpn. The Ult. Weapon was stupid, I hated to chase him around for 2 hours to beat him.

I would have to say Ruby...........

I once had an AMAZING save file for FVII where I had maxed every character out to level 99, and had done everything in the game bar beating Super-Sephiroth (apparently he becomes much tougher if you reach level 99). But I lent the memory card to my friend who erased over the slot with bloody Front Mission 3!

I've beaten all the weapons. Emerald was really easy if you do it right. I set my hp to 7777 on all my people, then went into the battle. After my people slowed down, I cast KotR and had all my people mime it. He didn't hit me once. Ruby took me about an hour, because it was just Cloud and Ruby trading off KotR and Ultima with the occasional elixir in between.
