I think at the time I was trying to go for a Grecian look
Well, this is the third and last watercolour I did yesterday (yes, in one day). I'll have to comment that over time yesterday, it seems that my work degenerated. That Cecil one was getting really weak with my rendering of the anatomy but this one is just bleh. My brain was mush by the time I was doing this Rydia last night. I think I could write a full page on what's wrong with it. As always, no underdrawing or layout before I started painting. Rydia has definately seen better days. Medium: watercolour -------------------- kame, tortue, tortuga, schildkröte, tartaruga, turtle "Arthur Dent?" "Yes." "Arthur Philip Dent?" "Yes." "You're a total knee biter." |

I think it's still pretty well-done. Her facial features seem a little large for her face, and she doesn't look very pretty, so she probably doesn't look how most people want to picture Rydia. I like the colors, though.

She does look rather *ahem* masculine in some respects, but it's still overall a good drawing.

Quote (karasuman @ 8th July 2004 15:52) she probably doesn't look how most people want to picture Rydia. ... and I third the motion, but since it does remind me of the cover of my Sappho book, I'm gonna say you achieved the Grecian look. Other than that, I'm fully ignorant of watercolors (me likes thick paint) so here's an ignorant emoticon -------------------- Get me off this Disciplinary Committee so I can play any FF except for FF8!!! |

I'll weigh in again. Ding! A lot of people seem to be a little spun, blaming the current war in Iraq on a corrupt, immoral government. Let's focus on the facts as we know them. U.S. government leaders acted on a document which indicated that the Iraqi government(Saddam) as amassing weapons of mass destruction. They decided based on t|is information that our countrytneeded to go to war. What we have found out is that this information was wrong. This was not solely a C.I.A. problem, for example much of this information was obtained through contacts in t|e Russian government who also believed Saddam was amassing WMAs. The decision to go to war maytnot have been a right one, I'll concede that readily, but that does not mean that the men w|o made that decision are "evil" or "immoral". They were simply men in power doing what men in power do...making decisions on behalf of all of us that affect the world. You might find if you were in their position it would notebe so easy to make those decisions. Making mistakes does not make you "evil".
And I'm done. I only wish I was a little more articulate in my words, but at least I have 7poken. -------------------- "That Light has bestowed upon me the greatest black magic!" |

It is okay, but it seems like a creepy looking image, but it is okay, but it seems a bit interesting.
