here,about the saphire weapon patch im making,info: i just wanted to say some stuff:hes not ready, but this his how he will look look:body a little bit like emmerald,big,glowing blueish tail,3 burning spikes from his back,head a bit like esper-terra,with purple-ish,flames very big ones,and arms a little bit like helletic hojo,but green,.he will have this attacks:

cruel ruination,witch a looks like a star falling hits all char`s with exactly 5000 damage, raziel flare looking
like fire3+ all but multiple purple explosions that does around 9000 fire/ice damage

storm of ancient,showering 20 meteors,doing 1000 dmg on random char`s

,and afcourse saphire beam,always doing 9998 dmg.for beating him you get holy


materia,that alows a char to go over 9999 hp.and super nova materia,that lets you cast super nova,(sephs best move)super nova will do 300000 dmg aprox.i might also program in the game that some other rumors are true,like onyx weapon and the silver,underwater chocobo.but it`l take time.i`l post updates about saphire evry now and then actualy,later,il make a thread for it,but this message i will post here because caesar already said here that:im making that patch.

Interesting. I've never seen any FF7 hacks before. How are you making the 3D model? What tools are you using? Where did you get the information on how to make such large modifications to the game?

I was wodnering the same thing. Ive never worked with a PSX final fantasy game before...although i did change some spells in FFIX once, but nothing to this extent.

well,im using a fairly unknown program called (yeah i know its a weird name)codeofhackingthehackers 52.4.i add i all pixel by pixel,witch means making a 3d enemie,is much work.i got the idea to hack the game cause i got realy mad that none of the ff7 internet rumors where true.i wanted them to BE true.then i decided that id make them.well anyway,i think that its pretty cool stuff,hackin a psx game.maybe il make onyx weapon after this,under the midgar swamp afcourse.silver chocob too.but i never actualy hacked the map.i dont know maybe i should make it that way so when you enter the swamp on a silver chocobo you fight him as soon as you enter.but il have to make the silver chocobo too.....

i might also make it possible,that sephiroth puts up a real fight during his last duel with cloud

It does seem like a lot of work, since FF7 enemies are built around wireframes covered with polygons instead of using pixel-based art. Care to explain more?

oops,i meant to say polygons,well no matter how you call them,litle piece by little piece,i add it on a on a invisible model,witch i made too,with the same prog.it is pretty easy,its just LOADS of work.im just saying little piece by little piece,wether you call them polygons,pixels,or anything else.

sure.as soon as im ready,il post it on con for evryone.i can asure you im not lying.and no,i dont have much expierience on that field.im doing that hack like the programs manual tells me to,like i already said,its not difficult,just loads of work.and you dont have to be expierienced hacker for it,its a realy great prog,made for noob hackers.and MAYBE im one .but,this thread is made for saphire weapon updates.so people that think im not telling the truth,can pms me about it.i can asure you that i wont flame,hatemail,or spam you.but back on saphire,i think i will switch him with emmerald,so when you crash into emerald,you fight saphire.then,i wont need to make a new background.btw when hes ready,il post a screenshot on con.happy hacking

On a side note, why not give him a bit better of a drop... such as, what you included, and possibly (dont flame me for this!) Aerith's revival! Instead of the old dude giving you a set of Master materia, just have him say, "The Gods have returned what was lost... check your ship" or something, and have that be keyed into restoring Aerith to the party.

Sounds like a difficult task to me, to both the saphirre fight, and to getting Aeris back. Sure, putting her back in via some hack would be easy if she was battle-only, but to have her in scenes may be odd... Basically, it could be one or the other as if you start off aiming too high you either hit too low, or run out of Ammo...

so my advice is to just try one really. Whislt the latter would be easy in principle, the actual thing may cause many problems . But meh, I dont even have any ROM's so know nothing of hacking them. If you can pull it off, even if it looks like crap, its an achivement, cos you can only really get better.

its not that tough.you you have her battle-only with the shark,when you enter a scene,the game freezes.the reason for this is simple:she has no text.she has to say something,but there is no text.if i would make text(witch is easy),i still have a big consern:not to butcher the game,like giving her text thet doesnt fit her,something not correct,etc.like with hojo on the sister ray.il have to think a great while what she should say,and stuff.

Sephiroth... activate HIM as the hidden char, change no text or anything, like nobody even knows he exists. He's just.. there. Only 2 limits- Fallen One (like his spell) and MAteria Stream (summons 5 random summons). Give 'im universal equip (IOW, he can use ANYTHING).

i might,but il give him a complete set of limits,and text too.not too much,(sephiroth doesnt talk too much)

limits wiil be i think:

lvl 1 limits will be:

implale,dealing death bypassing protetcion.(wont work on weapons)

oblitzeration,i can use the omnislash graphic for that,but a bit modified.

lvl 2 limits will be:

super nova,the spell safer seph uses,dealing aprox 100000-200000 dmg

bizzaro sephiroth,the party dissapears,and bizzaro sephiroth apears.

lvl 3 limits will be:

ancient soul,allowing him to break the 9999 limit with normal attacks

safer sephiroth,the party dissapears,and you get safer sephiroth.

his last lvl limit will be:

meteor.the meteor crashes in the ground,dealing 500000+ dmg.


NOTE: during all transformations, sephiroth has the apropiate charasterics,like safer seph has 160000 hp,bizzaro has 5 parts,etc.sephiroth stays controlable during the transformation,as doe the bizzaro sephiroth parts.btw,safer sephiroth,i will give him a bit more power so his regular attack does aprox 20000 damage,super nova aprox 100000,depending on his stats.but i gotta finish saphire and aeris first.i i will include seph

Questions on whether you're making this up are entirely valid in this topic, especially since you've provided no real insight into how you're doing this (other than a pretty obviously made up program name). And bearing in mind that you'll lose your posting rights forever if this does turn out to be made up (for wasting everyone's time), I'd suggest showing some progress pretty soon. We don't care if it's just a ball with holes so far. And hey: its a good way to stop people from suggesting that you're lying.

anyway,just a fact,i decided to prevent a cheap win,saphire will have a attack called cetra flare,that dissables all sumon materia.it is stupid,ppl beating weapons with the kotr mimic hp absorb final attack phoenix combo.
