Guess what. I just played through FF2 while I was visiting friends and family in Connecticut (FF Origins, PSX). As it happens, I think it's pretty darn cool game, and I loved the assortment of characters that join your party temporarily to fill in the fourth slot. My favorite is Leila, though I'd say Josef is a close second. Leila introduced the exciting and exploratory sea-faring part of the game, and she looks cool (and hot on the menu screen to boot).

Explain what you like and/or dislike about your choices.

Haven't played it all the way, but Mindu. He's got the whole Arabian ninja/priest look going for him.

(On a side note, FF I-II Advance is supposed to have a dungeon where you play as all the temp characters in a massive dungeon. That'll be realy cool to play.)

I'm guessing that Minh is Mindu, and if that's right, then Josef is the next guy.

By the way, I realize that Leon isn't technically temporary since

you finish the game with him (or, in my case, you finish the game with his dead body while beating the emperor)

but he's another of those fourth characters that you have for a short period.

... is this really all the people who've played FF2?
