I call it Sapphire WEAPON. And no, it is NOT Emerald WEAPON.
Why, you ask? Well, when you fight Emerald WEAPON, not only does it look totally different, it's alive and kicking. The WEAPON you saw attack Junon is DEAD. It got its head frickin' blown off. How could you possibly fight it afterwards? C'mon, people. -------------------- //www.rpgmaker.net/ We make games. Period. |

Are you saying that WEAPON become Emerald after the cannon blows off his head?
I'm going to have to quash the theory right now. Simply look at some photos. ![]() ![]() Obviously not the same shape, color, or anything remotely close. The spikes and tail are gone, replaced by huge shoulders with little lazer things? Did he mutate? Unlikely. And if WEAPON (or Sapphire if you must), was really Emerald, why didn't he unleash anything besides a wimpy laser at Junon? One Aire Tam storm and the whole damn place would be a crater (imagine how much materia must be in the shops alone, let alone Shinra's arsenal). Also, you see them both separately at the crater, when they warp away. ![]() ![]() I know Emerald is a little tough to make out in that right photo, but you can see the shape well enough. Or, look at the video yourself: http://www.ffhybrid.net/ff7/ff7_fmvs_movies.php Oops. I just read the rest of teh thread, and saw that Tiddles made pretty much the same arguement earlier. My bad, I didn't mean to steal your thunder. ![]() ![]() No. Just no. This post has been edited by bahamut0013 on 21st April 2005 00:33 -------------------- |

In addition to what Bahamut0013 just said, Square-Enix made a Sapphire WEAPON toy... entitled "Sapphire WEAPON":
The official Japanese site's creature toy line. Refer to the creature toy on the top right. Sapphire and Emerald aren't the same. I would think that the completely different shapes and colors would indicate that on their own.
