I was wondering in FF Mystic Quest(The game aint that bad, it is okay in my opinion, but heck, it is better than FF5) , what would be the best way to defeat the Ice Golem, my characters are at level 15 and I pummel the Boss with Fire, but then he winds up killing a character in hit when he is about to die and then he nails me with a ice move that does 700 damage. Then I get a game over, do you have any advice on this boss.

While I disagree that FFMQ is better than FF5, that’s beside the point.
The Ice Golem has at least 6,000 HP. Use Phoebe’s Fire spell and Benjamin’s (the main character’s) regular attacks. You will need to cast Cure often, probably every other turn. If you can’t beat the Ice Golem using this strategy, you need to level up. -------------------- The world before the fall... Delightful is the light of dawn... Noble is the heart of man... |

you need to go over your ff notes again buddy...ffmq is only superior to 8 (which was the worst ff game in my opinion, although i've only played part of 2j and 3j and haven't played 11 or crystal chronicals at all) but yeah...best thing to do is to cast loads of fire spells, potion it up a lot, attack with the main character when you're at full health for both characters (otherwise have him healing), and make sure that your equipment is up to par for that area...if you still can't do it then go level whore for an hour and try again
the thing i did really enjoy about ffmq though was the way bosses changed to show damage done -------------------- The more people i meet...the more i want to be a penguin |
