This one might be a little off-the-wall, but if you could physically live in an FF world (let's keep off the subject of MMORPGs) as the kind of person you are now, what character class or character do you think you would be or would like to be?

I would love to be a Samurai because of the Katana and magical techniques at their disposal. If I grew up in Japan, I would do anything to be a Japanese Samurai. Please submit your two (or more) cents.

My top choice is Samurai, but I would gladly be a Knight or Ninja -- my affinity for bladed weapons is obvious from these choices.

I would either be a Dragoon or a paticular FF character, but I picked Paticular FF Character though.

I would like to be a Red Mage, but my gut instinct tells me I would be a Bard. Sigh... oh, well, if it was an FFT Bard, at least I could fly.

Thief. Think of all the exercise you'd get running away from the authorities(well, I would anyway..I probably wouldn't be the subtlest thief around). Plus, hey, you'd get to see a fair bit of the world, right?

crap thats an easy choice. id be a dragon knight just so i could jump from place to place.
besides you get to strut around in sweeeeet armor, the ladies would go nuts.

I dunno..... The Lancers cape is all scarlet Batman style and all, but those little metal wing things (ears?) on the helmets have GOT to go.

Black Mage. I'm far more intellectual than athletic, and that's mostly by choice. as such, I would rather use magic than weapons.

Plus, black mages get to be semi-evil, and can inflict stabitty death.

Black Mage. Black mages' are freakin sweet. As fox said they get to inflict stabbity death, and launch waves of fire. Also, i Think robes are sweet, and those hats kick arse.

I think I'd end up as a black mage. I'm far more lazy physically than mentally, and I just don't have the personality to be a White mage. Maybe a summoner, but...that seems goofier, somehow.

I'd say a black mage, for a couple reasons.

1. No one would have to know you were a mage until you wanted to hurt them. Black mages are just normal guys, walking around with very little armor, inflicting death and destruction as they see fit. It's hard not to notice a bulky warrior, or a decked out dragoon knight, or a samurai with a 5 foot sword, but if you play it right, no one would look twice at a black mage. And then they be unable to look anywhere again. Ever.
2. A physical warrior's strengths are so reliant on circumstance. What if you're bound? What if you're 100 ft away from your enemy? What if you're attacked in the middle of the night, away from your giant weaons and unclad in armor? These are not the concerns of a black mage. The only concern is whether to waste a bolt 3 the sorry sap that woke you, or just knock him out with a bolt 2.
3. What's the coolest thing that a warrior can do? A twirl with his sword, an acrobatic jump, or breaking 3 boards with his head? That doesn't get the ladies. Raining pillars of fire from the sky, becoming invisible, and sending punks to the x-zone are where it's really at.
4. Think of the cool out-of-battle stuff you could do! Want to ice skate in July? Just have enough ethers nearby, and keep the Ice 3s coming. Want to see a movie, but low on cash? Invisibility! Car need a jump, but you lack the cables? Bolt 1! The possibilities are endless.

Of course, for battle purposes it would help to have a warrior with you to take damage for you, but warriors are a dime a dozen. Black mages are where it's at.

So archer gets my vote. But not necessarily a female one.
