Hi im new to the forum and i have been playing fft for a while and thought you'd like to know miscellaneus info i found while playing fft.
there is a way to get an uribo in random battles it it found in dolbodor swamp it may take a while but it is worth it if you want ribbons and chantages. has anyone fought a random battle in chapter 3 where you fight a lone black goblin in sweegy woods at lv.69 i was lv.25 at that battle but i got lucky i had agrias, ramza and a chemist. i'm done i may post things later (since i know a BUTTLOAD of glitches) in the mean time write your own miscellaneus info if you want. -------------------- "...But we will succeed. ok i will. i was about to start the battle at lionel castle and when i highlighted my black chocobo the picture was ramzas of chapter 1(you know the one with the ponytail)i just ignored it and started the battle and when gaff was talking he had the picture of ramza chapter 1 also!and my party had all status ailments(berserk, frog, etc.)and my black chocobo had the sprite of delita chapter 1.when the battle started every one had a strange picture (i think it was a kids i dont remember) and every one had status ailments too and my had only 1 panel to move in i just restarted my ps and everything was fine.honest this all happened it was because my disc is scrached and my ps is dusty im done (With only one glitch ![]() -------------------- "...But we will succeed. That's bullshit. If your PS was dusty enough and your disc was scratched enough to do that, then the game would entirely cease to function. Until I see screenshots, I'm not buying it.
BTW, I've had an Uribo in my party since early Chapter 2... I forgot where I found it; I have a feeling that it was at Bariaus Valley. (Yes, I know I have no corroborating evidence.) All I do with him is poach his offspring... 8) -------------------- I can't think of anything to say, really, except... I think it's nice... Ha ha ha! |

That's not neccessarily true, if it mis-reads paths on the disc it could theretically pull up the wrong images for the characters. But I think your game would freeze shortly after. Anyway, I don't think have a scratched disc qualifies as a game glitch. Did you know they are selling new FFT for like 15 bux now as a Collector's Edition or something? Buy a new disc dude!

You can find a Uribo rarely in the Zigolis Swamp story battle.

yeah i will thanks for reminding me. i did say my disc is scrached and my ps is dusty but my disc isnt scrached every where and my ps isnt that dusty, the reason it still works is because that glitch happened last year and i used my disc cleaner on fft and it works fine now ![]() and if you think im those people that post fake stuff like fake cheats and stuff im not i respect fft. and also (if your wondering)i play fft almost all day and thats how my disc gets scratched and my ps gets dusty, and a friend of mine said if i continue to play like this(scrached cd)my disc may permanently get stuck,is this true? -------------------- "...But we will succeed. The only "for-sure" game glitch that I can pull of the top of my head is having a character with equipped with Feather Boots jump on a Chocobo. Since the rider regains all previous status effects from before mounting--positive and negative--the chocobo would have to be shown to have Float status in some way, and since no animal can have Float status on it, then the game freezes.
That's all I can think of. -------------------- It's gonna be a glorious day I feel my luck can change |

I remember a glitch when I was attacked at a random battle, i was leveling up and i took my weak fighters but when the battle started instead of the fighters i took Ramza and everybody i took at the last story battle was there, this also happened to my friend too. Also,if you look at the status of a character in the formation screen and press select(or O) you'll see it shows descriptions of other stuff rather than the original description.
And dont think Move-find item is useless after deep dungeon, you could also find good stuff (if you have low brave)at the first the desert you go to(i forgot the name of that place)and other places you find traps in(but you probably already knew that) Feel free to submit stuff while im gone. -------------------- "...But we will succeed. I found a strange little glitch, once. I was recruiting someone at a soldier's office (or whatever it's called) and the whole top panel with their face and all their important info like brave and faith was missing. I could still press select and the little finger would appear and i could press "O" on various things, but the information was just not visible. Weird, eh?

It's been well almost 2 years since since I've layed hands on a Playstation (or 2), but I distinctly remember one glitch, and the only one I remember encountering: when I loaded my game, I went to check and set the stats of Ramza and he (and EVERY characterhad every job mastered and only had the abilities that they've learned at the last save, but could not learn anymore abilites! I instinctively re-loaded and everything was back to the way it was before. Has this happene to anyone else?

Not to me... I suppose I've had a blissfully glitch-free gaming experience... Except for the weird Proposition thing with 'Arc Knight'... Wasn't Arc Knight intended to be a secret accessible class at some point?

Glitches?!? We don't need no stinking glitches!!!
*ahem* The only glitch I ever experienced was when I hit the Playstation after my prized Ninja turned to crystal during a particularly tough monk battle on Grog Hill. I hit the top of the PS and the game unexplainably froze up on me. Very odd indeed. Have any of you experienced this glitch before? -------------------- Join the Army, see the world, meet interesting people - and kill them. ~Pacifist Badge, 1978 |

Doubtless you jarred the disc off its holder or jarred the laser that reads the disc, either way it couldn't read the game and hence froze. I'm guessing that's what it is, since the game freezes if you remove the disc while the game is still running.

As I said earlier, FFT made greatest hits status. I saw it at wal-mart last time I was there. So no, it's not rare at all.

Ebay... EB... Babbages... you can find FFT at any of these places. One thing that freaked me out on my last trip t+ the big city the other day, though: PSone games are disappearing. Where I used to walk into an Electronics Boutiqe a*d find a wall dedicated to PSone, now they have three small racks in the back of the store. The upside to this- much cheaper prices. The downside- hardly an8 variety. I wonder if the PS3 cill be backwards compatible for PS2 and 1 games? Hmmm.
*ahem* Oh, yeah.... back to my point. You can find Tactics anywhere, yo. -------------------- Join the Army, see the world, meet interesting people - and kill them. ~Pacifist Badge, 1978 |
