THe craziest soldier I've made I named Jerry Springer. I made him a mediator and made his brave go down to 20 because he is a coward on his show. tongue.gif

I doubt this is the craziest thing that could be made; it isn't even very original, but I have Rad as a Samurai with:

Draw Out
Item
Blade Grasp
Two Hands
Move +2

He deals MAJOR damage. At some point I plan to give him Move +3 and I'll replace Item with something cooler, perhaps Throw.

Wonderful...
I wouldn't really call this crazy, just really stupid but one night I name a character Renob Rider (spell the fisrt word backwards)... I know, I know, it's stupid but it was late and I was really bored.

Either that or someone has way too much time on their hands.

I once had a bard named Snoop Dogg. It was actually my little brother's idea, but Snoop-a-Loop served me well. His songs seemed to hit their mark more than any other bard I'd ever had.

If names had an effect on the classes' hit percentage, that would be........odd.

I ended up making a customized "Tosser" class. Not exactly crazy, but rather clever if I do say so myself.

Her name was Reda, and she was a Chemist with a gun, (throw item inherant), and had the Throw skill equipped (she only used Knives, Magic Balls, and Shuriken, though), as well as Feather boots (eventually a Ribbon and Chantage). Basically, she was the ultimate ranged class. She was almost never in immediate danger (which was good, she didn't have that much HP or defense), but she could chip away at the enemy and toss healing items to assist the party from afar, and just float around all over the place (though admittedly she didn't have a good range of movement... not that she needed though, which I guess was the point).

And behold, I saw a Pale Gaming System, and the name of he who rode it was Squaresoft, and Enix followed him.

Craziest? Nah. Cheesy? Most definetly. I made a character after seeing The Messenger.

Joan of Arc
Female Knight Bra.97/Fa.84

Secondary Skill: White Magic

Reaction: Counter Flood

Support: Attack Up

Movement: Move/HP Up

The idea was for her to be a mysterious holy knight of God. She has the power of healing in the White Magic, the wrath of God punishes those who attack her with the Counter Flood, and the manifestation of God's blessing and protection over her is evident everywhere she goes with Move/HP Up. The Support skill is the only one I couldn't really fit into the scheme, so I just threw Attack Up in there.

Once I recreated the FF4 final party of five, even down to which sun sign I thought was most appropriate for each character.

Cecil (Libra)
Job: Knight
Secondary: White Magic
Reaction: Caution
Support: Concentrate
Movement: Move +3

Kain (Scorpio)
Job: Lancer
Secondary: Item
Reaction: Defend
Support: Throw Item
Movement: Ignore Height

Rydia (Leo)
Job: Summoner
Secondary: Black Magic
Reaction: Counter Magic
Support: Short Charge
Movement: Ignore Height

Rosa (Virgo)
Job: Archer
Secondary: White Magic
Reaction: Regenerator
Support: Short Charge
Movement: Move +3

Edge (Sagittarius)
Job: Ninja
Secondary: Steal
Reaction: Hamedo
Support: Attack Up
Movement: Move +3

I did this party once, very similar to what you have it set up as. There is an FAQ somewhere out there with all kinds of party ideas to use. There's an X-Men theme team, Wild Arms.... all kinds of stuff, I tell ye!

I finally gave up on this team around mid-chapter 3, because Rosa was such a wuss.

I wanted to nullify the simplicity of the game and having Orlandu in the party at the same time, so I "wierded him out".

Orlandu-
Bare Hands
Black Costume
Some Mantle

Punch Art
Item
Meatbone Slash
Throw Item
Ignore Height

Try them apples biggrin.gif

Thanks for the link! I think that my FF4 party is truer to the game, but this site gives me some great ideas for other themes.
