Are you playing on a ROM, or PSX, or NES?
Either way, try going back up in the forest a bit, then go back down again over the bridge into a sand area. Sometimes it helps if you leave a screen then go back to it. Maybe go back into the house with the well outside of it. -------------------- I had an old signature. Now I've changed it. |

I would start again. In the game with one instance events, if you miss it (such as not using magic with edgar in your group the first time, then going through the caves and coming back), then it won't happen again. There are a few other instances in the game where this occurs, although none of them are required to get something as important as a main character! Did you do anything unusual?
Can you get to the ghost train? Maybe if you beat it he will be in your party, there is a cut scene where he watches his family board the train. (and Maybe not...) I think you're going "East" too much. I seriously can't imagine the Imperial Camp non-existent. Go back the the hut. Now go down as much as you can. If you find yourself facing the shore, go a East until you can go down further.

The only way that it could have actually "disappeared" is if you can go inside Doma Castle. If you can, then restart.

herm... this is wierd indeed. never had this happen before in ff3, ff6j or ff6 psx.
maybe you aren't going in the right direction after the crazy mans house you go south when you see a forest.. then past the forest.. then you see a desert and that should be the base. if that doesn't work try this. 1) Restart the game. 2) If it happens again.. you have a faulty copy. aka screwed up. -------------------- |
