I propose to those good at drawing on the computer a "Testper Picture Contest." People will have one month today to make a picture of the Testper esper, after which I will start a poll to find out which is the favorite! Good luck!

I am confused. Do you want us to make a new esper or what? Can you be a little more clear on the rules. Like what sort of programs you want us to use and whatnot.

The rules seem pretty clear to me so I'll state them. SuperManBoy can correct me if I'm wrong. What we are to do is draw anything that represents testper the esper. Basically you are to draw a new esper since testper is just a piece of unused code in the game I suppose. I guess we can only use computer programs like paintbrush, paintshop, photoshop, etc.

If you want me to put some sort of rules for the contest, here is what I had in mind:
Draw the picture with the same pixelation and graphic style of the final fantasy 6 (3) enemies. Basically try to make it look like it was actually from the game. And maybe make it humorus! i90east, where have you been? You think that there's even the slightest chance on earth that I would've missed Testper in my dummy guide? Come on, it kills stuff dead.
Anyway, I'll be sure to add something. It sounds like fun. Maybe the moderators could install some sort of prize? A two-month custom title, or a two-month custom avatar? Edit You know what? I think it's not unthinkable to create an actual move that summons Testper. I've already come up with a nice look for the move (Ralphie needs to look stupid, and I'll be as green as a Figaliz if I won't make it look stupid). How would a Testper Patch sound like? Would make a pretty nifty download for CoN, right? And I inted to make it kill stuff dead, were you having questions on that subject. Some Esper or another will have to go on the patch (I'm guessing Tritoch), but with Ralphie becoming an instant-death spell bypassing Death protection, I don't think that you'll miss him at all  This post has been edited by Djibriel on 26th May 2004 10:30 -------------------- |

I've always had a good image on how the Testper looked but

I'm going home today, so that makes me available for Testper creation tomorrow. I'm certain about the move look and the sound behind it, but although I've got a good idea for Testper itself, I'm not certain I can pull it off. All I've got to work with is Paint, and although it's not a hugely complicated picture I have in mind, I don't think I can make it look in-game.
I mean, if Amano would be kind enough to produce a concept sketch and the crew behind the image creation available under my command, then I guess I would. But he's not, they're not, and I can't. I'll come out sketchy, probably. I could, ofcourse, modify an in-game sprite (stares at Ramuh)... -------------------- |

Unfortunately SMB, this is the wrong forum for attaching images. You can attach images to posts in Creations or Submissions, but not in any other forum, so you'll have to either find someone to host your image, get the topic moved, or go to http://imageshack.us/ .

Crash Test Dummy? It's no" more like a Crash Test Skull o" Infinite Doom, but you get the picture. I put this tog ther in two hours or something (ike that. I haven't even tried if I could make it a legitimite move, but this is the result of some heavy doses of Print Scrning and Copying/Pasting, adjusting, etc. I couldn't includ! something that said 'Testp r' +r 'Ralphie' or &hatever, but you get the idea. The Crawler monsters her! are va*ished. Figured it would improve the quality of the image. They don't ' react(; to the spell anyway. And don't mind that Locke is called Celes. Well, in fact this IS Ce(es. You should see my Setzer...(br> P.S.: This attack looks incredib(y stupid, weak and poin less in action. That was the wh+le idea. The minute I thought o" 'Kills stuff dead' I had to think off that ridiculous move those Trap Doors used in IV. Two circles closing and BAM!, one down. Made no sense at all to me. Don't let Testper's in0imidating look intimida0e you. If I can ever squeeze this guy i*to a patch (I might consider it if there are people eve* remotely interested), you will summon this guy, watch the move and thi*k:" This it? Not bad. If a summon called "Test-per" were in it, I think that would be the most convenient look.

BTW Shinrin, where did you get that urine-like line? it looks a little like the Alexander Esper's laser/beam/whatever before the flames appear (is it?).
