Name all the times you fight a summoned monster in FFIV. There's a limited number of times your party fights against someone else's monster they've summoned. (Note: not including regular enemies like "Conjurer" and such class who summon)

Name the monsters and who summoned them.

I was a bit confused by this question, which seems to have killed the thread.


was it

1) Monsters summoned IN battle? Such as the first fight with Rydia, where she summons Titan, or Underground when Golbez summons Shadow before Rydia rescuses them?

2) Monsters summoned before the battle, that you then fight? Such as Valvalis
in the Castle in the Sky?

3) Monsters brought into battle by a boss? Like the first fiight with Milon?

I was going with more of like you answer with responce 1. I thought the question was fairly straightforward, but I guess it wasn't.

The example I used was Conjurer (but had him exempted because he was a regular enemy). That enemy summons the monsters while IN battle, so does things like Rydia in that respect.

The answer I were looking for you got: Rydia with her Titan and Golbez with the Shadow dragons. They both 'called' them while you were in the process of fighting them.

Note: There are 4, one of them you CAN get in FFII, but only using game genie, so that one I want to be included as NOT avaible.

Exactly, DP. I gave a ridiculous answer. And it's right. The FIRST requirement to use the Porno Mag is that you be able to get it, and you can't get it on the US SNES cart. I assume that since I gave a correct answer, the question is mine now.

The answer to my question: You need Edge in your party.
I think he is also the one who actually says the line about going blind. In the J2E version, no one character is credited with the line.

Your wrong DP. BTW. I had only cecil, rydia, Yang,And rosa. Cecil says Whoa ill go blind. I just beat the Calbrena and was able to use it fine.
