Did some research on Kletian's abilities...this is what I found:
Holy, Flare, Demi 2, Dark Holy, Raise 2 Seemed to indicate that Dycedarg has an All Magic Skillset as well, although he clearly prefers his sword skills. -------------------- "That Light has bestowed upon me the greatest black magic!" |

I take it you're going by what can be shown in the user status (in-battle) ?
Well, all the statuses are: Action-Oriented Performing, Jumping, Charging, Dead, Defending Negative Statuses Silenced, Blood Suck, Confusion, Darkness, Petrify, Invitation, Critical, Oil, Frog, Chicken, Berserk, Transparent, Stop, Slow, Poison, Death Sentence, Don't Act, Don't Move, Sleep, Charm, Innocent, Positive Statuses Haste, Protect, Shell, Regen, Faith, Float, Reflect --------------- Well, the ones that wouldn't affect negate each other would be: Silenced, Darkness, Cricital, Oil, Berserk, Transparent, Poison, Death Sentence, Don't Act, Don't Move, Performing, Defending (13) The positive statuses you can have that don't negate or effect the negative ones are: Haste, Protect, Shell, Faith, Regen, Float, Reflect (7) The ones that can only be one or the other are: Blood Suck, Petrify, Invitation, Charm, Dead, Sleep, Innocent (6) (I'll leave these out) ------------ I would say you can have a minimum of twenty positive and negative status effects on at the same time without them cancelling each other or not being able to co-exist. If you pretend that when afflicted, they become inherent statuses (until some other one becomes dominant/able to negate), then there could be at least 20. The number does seem a little odd, but I'm sure the set-up given could happen. I'll wait to see what Terra says. -------------------- It's gonna be a glorious day I feel my luck can change |

Oh, I read it as 'status effects'. My mistake. I'm not sure if 27 is right, though. Things like Petrify and Dead negate some of the other status effects.

Lemme see.... negative status effects...
Silenced, Darkness,Critical, Oil, Berserk, Poison, Death Sentence, Don't Act, Don't Move I'm changing my guess to 9. The others you can't inflict, like defending or performing... The positive status effects don't count, since you said negative only... and all the others cancel out other effects. I'm quite sure you can be inflicted with both Frog and Chicken status, but the sprite that is dominant is the one that occurs first.
