A question for all my fellow late-night nerds.
Does anyone miss Lupin III after Futurama and Family Guy on Adult Swim? I think Witchhunter Robyn is kinda stupid, thats just me, I'm not into that 'dark' goth Japanese stuff. Yeah i miss lupin. I can't get into witch hunter. Although i love InuYasha!

Your lost, Witch hunter Robin Rocks! I couldn't get into Lupin the 3rd. I didn't find it all that interesting. Oh yeah I also like Cowboy Bebop and Inu-Yasha!

Lupin the III, Cowboy Bebop, and Trigun happened to be my favorites. I miss Lupin the III and Trigun because they were helarious. I especially liked it about every time Lupin tried to pimp off to a chick. Trigun was funny in the beginning, but when it got more in dept towards the end of the serious I got even more greater enthuased about how it would turn out.
Cowboy Bebop happens to be my favorite anime of all time, and I watch a lot more anime than just Adult Swim. If you have watched the episodes involving Vicous and Spike it is likely that you would agree. It makes me want to know so much more about the story of them two. -------------------- I will be the mustard of your doom! |

Lupin rocks, and Trigun was even better. I used to watch Adult Swim back when it was on Saturday night, before Trigun was in the lineup. That's when I was first exposed to Yu Yu Hakusho (which I initially hated but now love), and Cowboy Bebop. After a little while, CN announced that they were adding a show called Inuyasha that I'd never heard of before, and I was thrilled. They used to play stuff like Outlaw Star, Pilot Candidate, and a whole bunch of random Gundam series.

Lupin was ok but it won't be horribly missed. I do however prefer it to its sucessor.

I never could get into Lupin just because my friend has a Japanese penpal that sends him all kinds of videos recorded on Japanese TV and if you had ever seen that show in Japanese (not the edited Japanese version like here but the ORIGINAL Japanese imported from Japan) the whole show is about a rapist...I mean the good guy is a rapist, so I was never able to get into that show.

A week or two ago, in the tv listing, it said Trigun was back in its 11:00 time slot (Mountain Time). It never came on though. When it came time for it to come on, the timeslot would 'magically' turn into some other show.
Trigun's my favorite because I actually saw it from the start, and although that only extended to seven episodes, I still like it. Personally, I hate the new Adult Swim and only watch for the FamilyGuy/Futurama hour. -------------------- It's gonna be a glorious day I feel my luck can change |

Wow. Ya learn something new everyday. I'm noticing that japan seems to take a different view of rape that frankly just creeps me fuck out. Course, this is assuming your info is true, which you'll pardon if I suspect. Sephiroth fans have a tendency to be...well...stupid. Not saying anything, just a statistic y'know? To your credit you've been breaking tradition and have been a pretty mellow fella so far as I've seen.
Anyway, I miss Lupin and I'd take it in a heartbeat over WHR, which is just more goth trash that I'm getting really tired of lately. I miss Outlaw Star since I was never able to view it to it's conclusion and I only slightly got into Trigun. I think the entire change is happening next week, when they'll be playing FLCL at mid! Lupin III is awesome. I'm a sucker for satirical social commentary and sexually slanted humor. I'd also like them to finally get new episodes for Big O and Inuyasha (Big O in particular, I've been waiting for new episodes from them for about four years, ever since it was on Midnight Run before Adult Swim took over weeknights).

Trigun and Inuyasha were both the best shows ever, no doubt. LupinIII was just not my type of show, but still good. Futurame and Family Guy are REALLY hilarious, as well.

witch hunter did not move me were the plot i found it funny more then good
inuyasha it rocks its the old school type  of anmie it has plotfamly guy one of those shows you ether get all the jokes or you dont get any of thema i love the sick humore fuchhrama also but some of the jokes are just sick  |

The new line up is good (New Inu Yasha episodes, finally!) but the half hour of ATHF just ruins it for me. I mean, the show has its funny moments,but for the most part it's just ... painful.
Not to thrilled about FLCL on Saturdays either, show's alright, but just could never get into it. -------------------- ~Justin Murphy was an optimist. |
