Today, I have added four dummied level up bonusses to my site, but while doing so I encountered the following two as described in Yousei's FF VI Editor:
LV + 50 % LV + 100 % Does anyone out there know how these bonusses would affect the game? -------------------- |

I bet they're temporary conditions reserved for battles. Dischord, I remember, does something similar (may or may not be in FF6).
Could have an interesting effect. |

I was talking about Esper bonusses. In other words: out-battle, permanent level bonusses.

I saw those, too. Maybe they actually add to your level when you level up. So, when you go from, say, 50 - 51, you actually go from 50 - 51.5, or 50 - 52. In the former case, you would be gaining an extra level every two levels, and an extra level every level in the latter. It could be interesting, but it is very strange. It would be quite useful for getting to level 99 quickly, but it wastes levels that could be used for other Esper bonuses. Imagine, though, using Level +100% with the Exp. Egg in the dinosaur forest... Wow...

Did you read the description in-game? It says: «That does absolutly nothing» (or something like that) Maybe they haven't implemented yet these bonuses. But, if it does something, I think that it has something to do with effective level (like FraudulentTommah said)

Setting this level up bonus will give you that very text. It is, by the way, not 50 % and 100 % but 30 % and 50 %. Just to be precise. -------------------- |

Maybe that it was supposed to increase the level of the wearer (in battle only) for damage calculation and things like that. Or maybe it could have been an Experience booster. BUT, right now it does absolutly nothing.

I don' t want to get too technical here, but those two bonuses do absolutely nothing. Who knows what the intentions were? As far as the version 1.0, released in the US for the SNES, these functions do not exist (it just returns).
