Quote (Goonies @ 18th April 2004 07:59) 7 Maybe that 3-bar slotted Phoenix make Setzer step forward, but I know that there is one that makes him step backward. I don't remember which one ![]() 8 A confused Strago that have done his desperation attack on Setzer (?) 9 A confused Gau that have done Evil Oscar rage (sneeze) on Setzer (that remember me a certain #2...) 10 In FF6j, Setzer used the Equip anything bug and took an item that, when you attack with it, make you disappear, take a step forward or take a step bacrward. 7, 10, and Sketch need to be specific before I accept them as answers, I cannot stress this enough. As for your 8 and 9 Goonies, SabreSoul doesn't cause disappearance anyway (and good luck using a Near Fatal while Muddled), while there is no Sneeze-casting Rage, and I wouldn't accept it anyway since Sneeze is already listed. Anyway, Ogopogo is the closest so far. 8 and 9 are the only wrong answers, Magicite does not cause any formation errors and Snare/Antlion only makes a character disappear until the end of the animation. BTW, there is no anti-bug rule with me. The only thing I ask is that you present answers I either know to be true or that I can verify myself. I don't care if you catch me off-guard with a new answer I haven't heard of, in fact I encourage it. Learning new info is better than reviewing. -------------------- |

Two days limit passed
Detah will like this one ![]() How can you be alive and have only 0 hp? It's not a bug and it can be done infinite times. No, the character doesn't have any status ailments. Edit This can be done only in battle And I'm not lying or hacking the game. Good luck! Alive with 0 HP, no status, no bugs, can be done infinite times.

No, when you die at coliseum with one person in your party, you can continue to play, but your character is dead and when you enter a normal battle, he/she will be dead also and you'll be annihilated. But you can do the trick in the coliseum (good luck if you success to do this there!)
Hint: You can do the trick infinite times in the game, but you can also do this more than one time in the same battle. The guidelines never said that it couldn't be a status effect, just that it couldn't be an ailment.

I know it isn't my job, but melissasue, please don't double post or you'll be warned. Instead, just edit your first post. If your warn level go too high, you'll be banned.
Sorry, guys, my apologies, because I was wrong. I just redid the trick but it didn't work as I remembered (please forgive me, I did this 4 years ago) ![]() yes it can done, but only one time per battle, not infinite and it is related to a status ailment. But it's not the only thing. There is something else that you must do. You'll be alive with 0 hp in battle and menu screen, but it's only in battle that you can do the «Useless trick of the century». melissasue, GMH is right, you're dead until the angels bring you back. Then, it's not Life 3. But it was a nice try. I think that because of my stupidity, I'll let one more day to you guys. -------------------- «À l'aventure compagnons, je suis parti vers l'horizon! You get a character to have zombie status, and hit the zombied character until his/her HP goes to 0. They'll still be standing, but their HP will say zero. If you finish the battle without healing them, you'll find that their HP is zero in the menu screen as well, and they have this little zombie icon next to their name.
Now that you say status ailments are in, then there goes the Zombie status. -------------------- Check the "What games are you playing at the moment?" thread for updates on what I've been playing. not to nitpick, but characters already have 0 hp when theyre in zombified status. when you revivify them, they are brought to life with 1/8 max hp.

No, not the zombie status. When you are zombified, in the menu screen your character stats is all grey (HP, MP, Level). I want you to find a way to be alive with 0 hp and be normally playable in the next battle.
Hint: the status ailment doesn't persist after the battle. And IT'S NOT ONLY THE STATUS AILMENT that allows to do the trick. Then, if you just answer by a status ailment, be sure that your answer is wrong. I'll give the answer in 13 hours if you don't find it (I agree that it's difficult. It took me one hour to remember the exact way to do it. I was about to cancel the question.) -------------------- «À l'aventure compagnons, je suis parti vers l'horizon! Ok I have a question. By "they can be used normaly in battle" does that mean that they can take an infinite ammont of damage or die after taking a hit?

Die after taking a hit (if you didn't heal him)
Try, try, or you'll be well done. Hint: It has nothing to do with poison, life 3 and zombie. All you need is a relic, some luck (or bad luck, death isn't healty) and some timing. 4 hours 37 minutes remaining. I'm guessing it has something to do with the relic ring...

Time's up!
Nobody gets close to the answer (it's my falut! I gave wrong hints in the beginning, my apologies again) The correct answer was: 1 Equip a character with the Dragoon Boots (the relic) 2 In a battle, pray for that character being hit by Condemned (the status ailment and some "bad" luck) 3 When the counter is near 0, jump. And finish the battle with your other characters after the counter reached 0 (you have to see the animation and the Hp drop to 0) but before the Jumper come back on Earth. (the timing) The game won't remember to kill him and he will be alive in menu screen (without any status ailment). And in the next battle, he still won't be dead. But if you're hit, you'll die. Mha ha ha ha ha! Next question is up to Mr Grabs himself. [OFF-TOPIC]Heu... Zechs, this was Kefka to Gesthal on Floating Continent. I'll accept.
Name one plot aspect in FFVI that is similar to a plot element in FFIIIj in that it involves "ownage" power from large, heavy objects (i.e. those large, heavy objects have the capability to do you in rather easily). -------------------- Check the "What games are you playing at the moment?" thread for updates on what I've been playing. I think I have what you are looking for.
Possible spoilers: highlight to view After you enter the world of Darkness in FF IIIj you can opt to fight the boss right away (like in FF VI) however doing so is foolish because he is given uber strength from those four large dark crystals in various corners of the world and when they are destroyed Dark Cloud is weakend. The Dark Crystals are very simmialr to the FF VI Statues -------------------- There is a time and a place for everything, and I am niether |

No, Gambler, not quite.
I haven't played that far in FFIIIj yet, but it's already there. Hint: In FFIIIj, you can run into these things right after the world resurfaces (after you unchain your ship, of course), and in FFVI, you encounter these things in both the WoB and the WoR, but it's in the WoR that they "come to life" and you have to fight them.
