are there any other elton john fans in the forums??? and common people don't hate me just cuz i like his music??? i think he is a musical genius... and my current favorite songs are "Levon" and "I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues"

I'm not that big of a fan, but I will remark that his music is really very well written, and that he's a great singer. I know that sounds cliche, but he really does it well. His performance of 'Candle in the Wind' at Diana's funeral was quite memorable.

elton john's great. i think hes got something for everyone, no matter what kinda music they like, but i dont think hes given a chance by a lot of younger listeners. definitely deserves the recognition that he gets.

70s Elton John owns. one of my favorite Fox musicians. always wanted to do a brutal slow metal version of "Tiny Dancer."

Elton John, what can I say. He is one of the best musicians/performers in the world. The man has been making hits for 4 decades. The fact that he lasted this long is a testament to his abilities. I'm not a fan of all of his music, but I will say I really enjoy about half of his work. When you consider that half his work is more than 4 times what a normal performer does, that is incredible.
