I'm just curious, but I'm wondering how many Rages can Gau get or have? I thought it might be cool to see if I can get most of his Rages before I beat the game. Right now I have 29 of his rages and I'm figuring I still have a long way to go.

I think the most you can get is 252. A few enemies are not rageable, such as Allo Ver, Master Pug, and... something?

Allo Ver, Pugs (not Pug), Chupon and Siegfried. Then that makes 252.

There are spaces, but for some reason, they were left out of the North American version, I believe. You can get them through Game Genie codes, but they don't normally appear on the Veldt.

There is a patch for Allo Ver. It changes the battle formation 515 to 126 in the treasure chest in the Cave to the Veldt. It allows Allo Ver to appear on the Veldt. Check on Master Zed's web page and follow the links (I don't remember the URL).
Pugs, even if they appear on the Veldt, aren't getable, maybe it's because it's the 256th rage and it would make an overflow or something like this. I'm not an expert in programmation.
