If we're going to make a movie of FFVI (as I have considered myself), we need a title. What do you think the title should be? I came up with some ideas:

Measures of Evil
Magnitude of Evil
Magnitudes of Evil
Magnitudes of Evil: the Sixth Final Fantasy

I personally don't like to reuse the name "Final Fantasy VI", but if you do, feel free to say so.

N.B. I personally prefer using a name that describes some theme of the movie. I chose Measures or Magnitudes because those people who can be considered bad are bad in different degrees. For example, you have Edgar, who's nominally allied to the Empire but is actually a Returner--is his disloyalty to be considered immoral? Locke and Lone Wolf are thieves, and thievery is generally considered bad, but thievery pales to war crimes like those Celes and Kefka committed. I think Leo was bad in whom he served, but he tried to make good out of it. While Gestahl is the traditional nasty, evil, dishonorable, crafty emperor, but then his general Kefka Palazzo tops that by committing treachery, cowardly murder, mass killings etc. on top of that. I believe you get the idea.

I like Final Fantasy VI. Anything else just ruins it. That's what it is, and fobbing it off with some phoney name just sucks. I wouldn't see it if they named it "Measuring Sanity" or something like that, but if it were Final Fantasy VI I'd be like Hell Yeah! And if anything, it needs the logo Final Fantasy at the front. I only saw Spirits Within because it had that at the front. If it was called Spirits Within, I wouldn't have. I like Final Fantasy, not Square.

And plus, it's not really reusing the name - it IS the game in film form. Look at what they did with the Harry Potter books. They didn't call the Chamber of Secrets...Voldemort's Revenge or something when they released it as film.

We're making a movie? What?

Well if there was an FF6 movie the name needs to be recognizable. This wouldn't be easy because most Americans who are familiar with the game still refer to it as FF3. Something like this could work:

Final Fantasy: Magitek Knights
Based on the hit Super Nintendo game

IMO "blah blah blah of evil" is so generic. Let's be a little more specific with the titles.

Hmmm, a movie. Well I agree with Iggy. They Should keep the name Final Fantasy VI with a little thingy under it saying a new Title, Like this:

Well we couldn't put all of Final fantasy VI in to one movie.. Unless ya wanna sit though like 9 hrs

But you do know the 3 orginal star wars movies , New hope, Empire Strikes back and return of the Jedi almost work w/ a little change

well i agree with Lionheart... if this game ever became a movie it would have to be a trilogy and each movie should be called the following

FF6-1: (from beginning of game to esper cave) The Magi Revival
FF6-2: (from esper cave to world of ruin {when celes meets sabin to be specific}) The hunt for the Espers
FF6-3: (from meeting sabin to the end) The Final Farewell
